Great sandwich and breakfast spot right on a canal ! I got the brie , tomato and arugula sandwich . Delicious and filling. Seating gets crowded inside, but there's outdoor seating as well

We went for mozzarella tomato pesto , goat cheese honey walnut sandwiches and suisse omelet !! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The place is cozy and the service was great.. Definitely, coming again next trip.. ????????

The ham & cheese breakfast sandwich out of the oven was very good. We also enjoyed the Swiss omelette with Gruyère , bacon , and peppers on a toasted brioche bun . Both were exquisite!

Go for the eponymous Broodje Bert, a set of little hamburgers on a sandwich with salad and tomatoes . This will definitely cure your hangover

Fresh, high-quality food and no economy on ingredients. You get what you paid for, or more. The smoked salmon was absolutely fantastic! Cant wait to go there again and try something different.

Awesome and huge sandwiches with very good prices. Be prepared if you are going to eat inside because the place is very very small. Outside is better. No wifi .

This place is really good! If you want a big lunch for little money, this is the place. You can get a sandwich+salad+sauce for less than 6€.

The place doesn't show the typical Amsterdam atmosphere, but the sandwiches and salads are extremely good (and cheap ). Very good place for a quick lunch

If you're impressed by these sandwiches I don't know what your preferences are. Cheap , crappy baguettes and average ingredients overall. Go for the omelette if you eat here, at least that's fine.

Menu has very good variety. Grilled chicken sandwich is super. Their latte and cappuccino sucks.

Burger is delicious and basically consists of 4 mini burger patties!!! Also, try the healthy ham , cheese & egg and the BLT. You can't go wrong with any of the options!

I love this. Go here when you're hungry and in a hurry. They've got some great sandwiches ! It's simple and affordable and the service is really fast.

Ask for a tuna melt sandwich . It's not on the menu but they will make it for you, and it's delicious!!! :-D

Broodje bert is to die for! Lamb meatballs on a sandwich !

Absolutly stipid waitress . We were on the line , after group of tre people. There was 2 seats, but she didnt let us seat becouse she said they first, so two seats stayed vacant!!! Really!?

Order the "broodje bert" burger only if your really hungry, otherwise you're gonna explode (but it's worth it)

The "burger " is actually a fantastic sandwich ! Tastes like falafel .
