Visited it more than once, great experience, reserve at least 2hrs to see it properly. A bit out of the way for tourists and visitors but a place full of real history, kids won't be bored either
So interesting! It’s about so much more than weapons and tactics. There’s a bank , a morgue, a dentist and doctor office , a jail, and much more. It’s like a human ant farm .
Be sure to go for one of the free guided tours . (Times are on their web site.) Doug Beaton was great.

Really cool place
This is the best museum in Ottawa. Make sure you visit Memorial Hall - Located in the Foyer of the building. It's an amazing room that cannot be described. - Allie Wojtaszek
Good tour. Reduced fee on weekends as there usually aren't workers to see working. Gift shop was nice and the chance to hold a gold bar is fun also. - Grant Elliott
