This is our first & flagship café. Opened in 1995, it has become a local institution & urban retreat with a hidden tiered garden. It is a firm favourite with Bristolians & an actual legend in its own lunchtime!

This location is popular with students and can be a bit busy (you'll wait awhile for food), but it's still BTP so it's tasty and local!
Downstairs has bar-height tables with power. Much more seating upstairs. Closed WiFi . Password's on the board. Permits VPN connections. Ping 41 / 1.8 Mbps down / 0.6 Mbps up.
Brunches , coffees , smoothies , cakes all great. Wifi password at time of writing is 'saladwithsoul'
Good coffee , excellent breakfast options - had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon , eggs were cooked to perfection and the plate came with four buttered seeded bread slices.
Best breakfast in town . Big space so you will find a table fairly easy . Beautiful garden for sunny days
Chorizo hash - absolutely amazing! Perfect hangover cure !
We didn't eat in cause it was super busy, but we bought a brownie to takeaway and it was divine!!! Lovely little place with great food.

Fast wifi , friendly staff , seating all over the place. Very happy! Have got a lot of work done here!
Best breakfast ever! Had tha salmon with eggs and avocado
Nice hipster cafe with great sandwiches , outdoor seating and a very nice upper floor.

If the weather is clement, the garden is the only place to be. Plenty of cover even if precipitation is an issue!
Great carrot cake and actual proper coffee .

Granola with yogurt , honey and berries ????
Been before but this time didn't receive great service. Ordered two milkshakes , both forgot the peanut butter , order was not all bought at same time, had to be chased. Can't handle high volume
Lovely seating outside , nice food, bit on the pricey side and slow service but I like the place.
Lovely, happy, friendly staff . Nice vibe and good food.
Gets quite busy on the weekend, but nice and friendly .
West Country Breakfast has to be the best in Bristol. The Sausage tastes really good.
Huge scones ! Cream tea is lush.
Possibly the best restaurant garden there is – anywhere. But when its cold, curled up on the sofa by the window at the front.
As with all branches of Boston Tea Party this cafe is always very busy
One of the best places for desserts ????
Really is the best coffee in Bristol . The sandwiches are generous and delicious too. Always buzzing, the place to be.
Had a "Fiery Phoenix" sarnie from here. Chicken + bacon + Harrissa Mayo = Yum! Best cafe in central Bristol, bar none.
WiFi , outdoor seating , delicious ice-coffee
Probably the nicest eggs Benedict I've tasted - soooo much ham :0)

The garden is lovely. Try their iced coffee .
If it's hot sit in the garden in the back
Love going here for afternoon tea !
If you prefer your latte with semi-skimmed milk ask for half-and-half
The best study cafe in Bristol!
Sam's apple cake . Sam's apple cake . Sam's apple cake . Sam's apple cake .
Lovely space. Great brekkie
Their latte is to die for, the rest is average .
Try the vanilla black tea and the brownie
Ordered an iced latte but I got a coffee milkshake (without much taste of coffee if at all) so if you want a normal iced latte don't order it from here
Medium house blend was weak and bitter, more like a sub-standard service station or airport Costa. Soy latte weak and not hot, though better than the house blend ...
The hot boxes are the best value for money in terms of good. Good coffees all around. If you're into chai lattes they're the best I've tried, not too sweet. - Alex Jegtnes
A great place to people watch while sitting outside in the sunshine - friendly staff, good coffee and the Bubble and Squeak is well worth a try. - ARKIN LEATHER GOODS
