This was a great place to go! Within walking distance from all the major sites, good food, and creative beer names - pretty good beer too. I recommend this place!

Free pretzels with delicious dipping sauce ! Score! Beer is actually really good. I got a flight and liked them all. Steak & eggs from brunch menu really hit the spot! Def will be back when in the area

This is a great place for a group of friends to chill , hang and have great times. Peachy peach martini is delish and a. Amber beer . Shared corned dogs , wings , tuna , nachos and quesadilla . ???? service

I know I'm tipping a fair bit here , bit we are doing some leisurely tapas thing. So, to the tip... Try the Southwest Keg Rolls. They will not disappoint. You could pair them with the Pale Rider.

The entrance is tough to find; just go 'round to H & 11th Streets NW and you'll be fine. Their house brewed root beer is FANTASTIC - one of the best we've ever sampled. You get free soft pretzels too!

Have been their 5 days in a row. Great good! Slow service! Went last night and ordered a beer , and the waiter said we have no beer !!! It’s a brewing company!!!! But no beer !!! I was in shock!!!!

Many many beers to choose from. Wide screens abound and a great pub menu to go with it.

Fried green beans are absolutely worth it. Bean burger was pretty so was the mushroom Swiss burger . Service was friendly despite the major crowds. Beer selection was limited but yummy and unique.

AMAZING JUICY BURGERS!!!! THEIR FRENCH FRIES ARE ALSO AMAZING! Their cuban sandwich is surprisingly good as well , i'm cuban and i give it 4stars! out of 5! pretty darn good!

Stumbled in because I was in the area and hungry. Enjoyed trying some local drinks in a pleasant environment. Pretzels were a fun surprise.

Happening place! Service was great along with the beer . And they give@you pretzels like some restaurants do bread . An added plus!

My favorite pairing is their dark beers with a simple order of beer pretzels and mustard (or cheese ). Makes for an especially tasty happy hour snack !

When it comes to drinking in Washington, this isn't your best bet but when it's early afternoon and you're stuck in NW for a conference , this might be your only bet. Sit at the bar .

Portions are large and shareable. Ask for free pretzels (the horseradish dip that came with those was delish!)

Fantastic! Their beer is amazing and reasonably priced. And you get pretzels with your beer , too!

They do flights on request but be warned: they are large. Probably best to split between two people.

Their starters are huge and still so cheap . I'd recommend the nachos , big enough to feed two.

free soft pretzels are awesome and the wave red and prohibition Porter are the best brews.

Got some great beer selection and the location is right in the heart of downtown DC.

Pretzels were unexpected and awesome, cranberry vodkas were strong, and kristy l (our waitress ) was amazing with our group of 14! Highly recommend!!

The Mango Martini is so good. They also have a spicy version.

Make sure to get the free pretzels when you sit down at the table. You can get cheese sauce and they'll bring it from the kitchen.

I love the pretzels they serve while you wait with the horseradish mustard sauce .

The owner says this brewery was the first to churn out booze after prohibition. And they have a drink to prove it: the Prohibition Porter . Order one up and toast that you weren't born in another era.

The Prohibition Porter was definitely a good choice! Happy hour appetizer prices can't be beat either!

if it's on tap , the mesquite rye is campfire in a cup, and quite brilliant

Great food, they do only serve their 4 beers , so no ciders and they ran out of 2 types of wine while I was there =[

If you think you want a steak from here..don't do it. From out of town and I thought it sounded good, but being the type of restaurant it is, I probably should've had a burger .

Happy hour is 4-7 and means all appetizers are half price and beers are 3.50

The free pretzels are awesome, atmosphere great, owner super duper, and you get to keep the shakers from the margaritas !! Highlight recommended!

To be honest, this place bores me. The huge ceilings just make white noise. But if you want a brewery , they have plenty of capacity. In the winter though, it's an awful climate.

The quesadillas are SO good. So are the nachos . Thumbs up. Good atmosphere.

Try the Calamari . It is by far the greatest calamari I have ever had.

Cool place for drinks after work and hangout with friends. Nothing special yet expected.
