Best falafel I've had in San Francisco, get the vegetarian plate with an extra side of falafel
Recently moved a couple of doors down and expanded. Nice back patio area ! The platters are superior to the wraps , BTW. Pitas are $1 a pop now, but you still get complimentary olives & pickles .
Pro tip: they'll sell you a bag of 5 pitas for $5, and they're better than the hard flat ones you get at grocery stores (although still not as thick and fluffy as they should be).
Stuffed falafel is delicious! Combine with mossabaka and a carrot juice ! The outside patio with the water fountains is very relaxing!
Great Mossabaka , stuffed falafel and chicken !!!! This and Tahini restaurant are my top choices in the city . Great service too!!
Portions are huge, def recommend sharing. Shish Kabab lamb was delicious. Hummus with shawerma dish-- lamb was a bit dry. Everything is very filling! The Warbat for dessert is gooood.
Yum - got the Qudsiyah (hummus with foul) and combo plate (Shish tawouk and kebab were great, the lamb a bit too tough)
Decent but by no means exceptional Levantine food. Try the mossabaka (hummus mixed with whole chickpeas )
Get the half & half if you can't decide between rice and hummus !
Great legit middle eastern food . Now my favorite in SF. Very nice staff . Falafel wrap is so fresh.
Get the egg and lamb and share an Arabic salad .
Bright mezzes and all the staples like lamb kebaps - they're huge portions and a great South Mission joint for those foggy nights.
Don't forget to snap a pic in front of the famous camel painting ! Also super dank food at a good price, love this place!
Feta with meat is what you should order. Has pieces of pita in the hummus . What I always get when I come.
The veggie delight dish and shawarma were tasty and generously sized
Don't get the wraps , you can't get decent lavash in SF and they're no exception. Plus, the other dishes come with some pretty decent pita bread .
Falafel so delicious don’t forget to order it !
Lamb was a little dry. But overall very tasty! Great hummus
Egg and Meat was amazing and tasted like corriander.
Pretty good Mediterranean food . chicken Kabab and hummus were good
Chicken shawarma with half rice , half hummus . It's the goods.
Kunnufe is bomb, shawarma , babaghanoush and falafel all good
Very tasty Israeli food !!! Very friendly stuff
The lamb and beef shawerma is spook delicious !
If you want to extra impress, order the Mossabaha, a chunky, spicy hummus that's topped with olive oil and served with house-made bread . Read more
It was delicious.Big portions and friendly service .
Hummus and pita . Including any of the marinated meats .
The Kunafa is amazing
EVERYTHING!! Really!!
The qudsiah is legit, authentic and tasty.
Falafel with spicy sauce makes me drool.....get shwarma and share.
Order a dozen falafel balls , baba ghanoush , and hummus to go. Take it home and make your own awesome falafel sandwiches .
shish taouk is my favorite - and they have the best humous outside the middle east.
Try the Vegetarian Combination Plate - A little expensive but very tasty
Rather decent Middle Eastern food . Lentil soup is good. Service is in the slower side.
Everything is amazing. But the olives are not good.
Strong falafel game here!
The food was actually OK here, but what I did not appreciate was the discrimination that went on here. When I went back for a second time, they refused me entrance.
Try chicken Shawarma and Falafel
Falafel sandwich was great
Stuffed falafel is on 7x7's Big Eat 2013.
The chicken shwarma is great here
Put the hot sauce on everything. Maybe not dessert , but everything else.
The Hummus is usually exceptional but it could vary with age. For best results early lunch will do
Good potion!
Try mansaf dish
Chicken platter and falafel
You want a taste of the middle east without hopping on a plane ? Come here, authentic and taste just like home!
Excellent hummus .
Try the Stuffed Falafel - Very yummy
Food, service, prices — everything ????. By far our favorite restaurant in SF. - Pau La
Hooray for a business who takes care of its workers. Everything here is delicious, and the mezze is always a crowd pleaser. Don't forget to snag a bag of their sourdough pita, too! - Jenn Chen
Awesome selection of Turkish, Israeli and other Mediterranean groceries. Really friendly people too! - Erik Weber
Great dive bar with a decent backyard. Go for transvestite karaoke. Fun times - Peter Chiu
