They've done a killer job renovating this place, it's got a great vibe. Excellent nachos and the house shiraz is A+

The tattooed security guard who use to be a fixture at the door of the Cherry Bar is now working the door here. It's always great to see a welcoming smiling face!

The female bartenders are super lovely. Some of the nicest I've come across.
Kids are welcome during meal times, but please read the sign they must be closely supervised and not just left to run around and definitely not in the smoking area . If that is too hard, don't come.
Food is deceptively good. Hot chips are very tasty, and the garlic bread ? Woah.
We love NSC, and that's why we need to stage an intervention; in order to convince it to get decent beer on tap .
Live music ? Yes, please. Pretentiousness ? Leave it at the door, thanks.

Parmas are HUGE! Like a whole chicken flattened. Can easily feed a small nation.
Book in advance for one of two Lyrical MWF sessions to be held here this year. Or go to both. We don't mind.
Beer 's ok but the parmas aren't so hot. Also while VB is awesome normally, theirs is sub-par. Try another beer for optimum satiasfaction. Lots of Northcote types. You'll be ok if you have a tattoo .
