We visited Basset's with family from out of town & they loved it. It's picturesque, and the food was great.

Unless you like your food warm to cold, do not seat outside if you are more than two people. Of the five dishes, three were cold. But after 2 mayo spills on us and a fly on the ice tea , we wanted out.
Nothing. Don't eat here. The food was cold, the omelet was mainly grease.. so gross.

Parking is tough at most places along the C&O. Weekdays are best. EARLY on the weekend. Bug repellant during the season. VERY pleasant in spring and fall. Bring your camera. - Jack Diamond
