You will smell marijuana . You will see dogs and naked people. You will hear birds and running water. You will feel hot and sweaty. You will taste fresh air . ...And you should jump in the water.

The Greenbelt trail located by barton springs pool is great for hiking , but if you're looking for swimming and rock climbing , it is best if you enter the trail near MoPac to avoid a 5 mile hike .

The Greenbelt is great hiking in the middle of the city . There are lots of trees , so the trail is protected from the hot summer heat. A perfect summer get away.

Easy hike to do in a couple hours. Be prepared: you will likely have to cross the creek so wear waterproof footwear or just take off your shoes .

Twin Falls (MoPac access road just south of 360) is a great entry point. Great hikes down to the watering holes... if there were any left!

Do not leave anything of value in your car. Put anything you have in the trunk. Break-ins are unfortunately common.
