Pork & eggplant miso : too much meat (a little over cooked too) & not enough eggplant ... ????????

Got the takoyaki , pork and mushroom , agedashi tofu , spicy tuna salad and all were superb.

The chicken karaage and miso cod are really good. The agedashi tofu is just okay.

Go to Izakaya Mai for dinner and try the small plates and have a beer . Order the spicy tuna salad and miso eggplant pork are delicious.

small place, one of the better ones in SM. owner is super friendly and gives little goodies to the kids.

Would avoid. Table was dirty even after a requested wipe down. Service was slow and food over priced in comparison to its neighbors. Not worth it.

Careful of the steep stairs to the downstairs area!

Rainbow roll not worth it. Drive 5 min down to Tomokazu (Burlingame) for a way better roll for the same price
