Lots of good skewers ! Order the beef tongue for sure! Also chicken thigh and kaarage. I like the skewers with salt better than with sauce. Don't forget to try the green chili . It's lemon-y!
The food here is decent. You don't get to eat these kinds of food everyday. The sesame ramen is really unique. The only issue is you must make a reservation the wait is intense.
Thoroughly indulged myself with calamari and multiple skewers (3 pieces each):quail egg wrapped in bacon (amazing), fish with cheese (good), pork belly with sauce (great), and beef tongue (excellent)
Reservation is needed if you want to avoid the long waiting time. Food is delicious.
Food is excellent! Easy to wave people down for service. If you like alcohol but don't like tasting it, order the Homare Strawberry Nigori!Pistachios are served alongside ice cream to balance flavors.
Made a reservation earlier and get called less than 2 hours before the reservation that they cannot keep the reservation for us since there is a bigger group coming in for party... quite frustrating..
Calamari is pretty amazing. If you like eggplant , I recommend the Dengaku Miso . Black sesame ramen is spectacular.
Yakitori ! Also raw octopus and squid ! It's better than Mokutanya and Sumika.
Yakitori here is delicious!Mizuna salad greens go great with all the meat!
Must orders: Beef tongue , grilled rice ball , gizzard , chicken karaage , bacon enoki , tori soboro don
a personal fav, the fish cake with cheese . everytime I order this, I try to find the cheese . seriously, where is it? it's there.... O_o
Their black sesame ramen is bomb. Better than a lot of ramen places , actually.
Skin subpar, pork Belly and Kalbi are pretty good. They take reservations .
Love this place!!! :) great food an awesome ppl!!! The Owner is so funny and great Chef !
If you ask for hot tea , boys get blue cups and girls get pink cups...heteronormativity?
There's Yuzukosho on tap via the condiment holder on your table. YES. put it on everrrything.
Great food and atmosphere!!! :) the owner and his co-workers are so nice and friendly !!!
The buta bara (pig belly) is great. Just like Japan. A guilty pleasure
Love all the grill here. Very authentic !
Try the black sesame ramen
Tsukune, tomato and bacon , eggplant are good
Best. Calamari . Ever. Dont get the squid .. it's liquid death.
Reservation needed if you don't want to wait a really long time
Try the spicy miso pork , bacon wrapped cherry tomatoes , ginko nuts & shishito peppers !

Miso beef tongue excellent
Skewers everything!
Fabulous. Like eating downtown Tokyo
We waited over 45 minutes to get our food, which trickled in little by little over the next 40 minutes. Was disappointed by the slow service and extremely loud atmosphere. Food was good, though.
Crowded !! Make reservations . Good prices for the portion
The skewers are just ok. The salmon tacos and chazuke are better and more impressive.
Get the enoki bacon it is the best thing ever
Get the Smelt!
Butter corn is delicious

Best sushi on peninsula. Special preparation nigiri are always a hit. - David Kirsch
Great teriyaki and katsu curry. The wait can be long though, so try calling ahead. Also, cash only. - Lily
Skewers are awesome...especially chicken heart and mushroom. Gotta get the yamakake maguro - Andy Wang
#9 Red bean combo with less sugar is pretty good! They have boardgames too. - Kat ????
Little heavenly bites! It's like a giant profiteroles filled with perfectly sweet, light cream. Vanilla is perfect and barely lasts out the door. At $2 a pop, well worth it! - Lillian
