Waitress was Rosie Perez from "white men can't jump". Good service , very very good food. Drinks were strong. The social aspect at the bar was great. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Tucson.

Get the Mole . Try the chalkboard combo. This is an awesome find. I returned after 15 years and was so excited to eat there again. Love the new location.

Matthew Breuer

it’s... okay. Great flavor in the main dishes but just such a random assortment of things on your plate and the cocktail program feels really dated.

G Bliss

The people with me loved their meated-meals. However, I am a vegetarian and their vege-options are really limited and the food was very unsatisfying. (Tasty, but not satisfying and with no protein.)

Gordon Bailey

Excellent service , try any of their margaritas (the one with vanilla sounds weird, but tastes amazing), order the chefs special because why would you know better than the chef what you want?

eric bornemann

Classic restaurant of high end Mexican food . Tasty if not the most amazing food but a decent bet in downtown.

Andrea

amazing...trust the chef 's special! Don't worry about the kids- just get them an extra plate!!

Bridget Gael

Best tequila margs we’ve ever had, got the chefs special w great steak and pollo w chocolate

S Armstrong

Order a pitcher of white sangria , and share the sampler entree platter with a friend, for a most perfect evening.

So good - go straight for the special. I never understood what the big deal was with mole until now!

Mike Corak

Don't look at the menu, just order the special and a drink and I can assure you you won't regret it!

Whatever you eat here will be great. A must place to eat in Tucson

Paul Charchian

I never thought I'd describe a restaurant as "elegant Mexican", but I found it here. This upscale eatery had my group describing it as a delightful discovery. Our four meals were each fantastic.

The menu changes daily but if they have the puerco or the green corn tamale they are phenomenal! And please get the pumpkin cheesecake ...sheer perfection. Who'd a thunk Tucson could be so fancy ?

Brian F.

Likely one of the best salsas you can have in the continental US. And you get it as an appetizer for free! Amazing balanced flavours and attention to detail. very professional and respectful service.

Alexis

Lunch hours can get pretty busy, but totally worth the wait. Keep in mind it's cash only .

Greg Macfarlane

Ah yes, calling for reservation with out of town number .... Sir, how does 4:30pm work? WTF. Arrive and then they try to seat us by bathroom . Call with local number. Please.

Try the Desert Variation - #chocolatey #heavy #vegan #rich

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Tucson! They have delicious fresh juice and chips and salsa . There's mandatory hugs when you leave, which adds to the charm of this place!

Mark Munro

Mole and carne asada poblano were fantastic. Great value .

Try the Stuffed Peppers && Salad - #vegetarian #delicious

The best high end Mexican ever!

Trish Ventura

Loved the ambiance and food however, the service was lacking. They did not pour the bottle of wine that was ordered, it was just left on the table and they would not accommodate my nut allergy.

Allen Michael

Just any FYI for any business travelers, this place does not take AMEX and would not split a check. Not customer service friendly in that manner. Otherwise, great food and service.

Got kids? Super kid welcoming and friendly !

Not friendly to single business traveler. No food service at bar and I sat watching open two seat tables. All cuz of chalkboard menu???

EatMeDrinkMeNYC

Order the food; be happy.

Atomic Pop

Inventive Mexican fusion, unique to the Desert Southwest. Try the Chicken Molé .

Food was terrible and margaritas worse! I took friends from out of town and all four of us were very disappointed! Definitely never going back!
