If you love Ethiopian coffee then this place is for you! Yes there is free wi-fi but seating is limited. My shot was a touch short . My only gripe is that they served my espresso in a paper cup.
My new neighborhood coffee shop ! Great for coffee if you're in Hudson Heights, right by the adorable little triangle park on Cabrini.
This is my favorite neighborhood coffee shop ! Independent, local, small and family owned shop. Ethiopian coffee--hazelnut latte is my personal fave.
The feta and scallion scone is delish! The staff is really nice, despite being busy. Yummy coffee . Not much seating but the park is right nearby!
Great little coffee shop in my new neighborhood . Good coffee and I also had a yummy baked good with pecans .
Great coffee and friendly staff ! It can be tough to find a seat sometimes though, so be prepared to get something to go.
Got the tip from a sophisticated coffee drinker. She says Buunni is the best she found in NY. Applause for their quality! I tried the etopian macchiato .
Small and friendly . Best ice chai latte I've ever had.
Great espresso and the only real cafe in the neighborhood (Starbucks doesn't count). Beware: wifi costs extra and there is very limited seating .
The staff did seem a bit cold, and it’s really expensive . Great iced latte tho, had a feeling it would problematize my thinking this place is wholly lame
The only indie coffee shop in Hudson/Washington Heights, Cafe Buunni focuses on self-roasted Ethiopian coffees and offers wifi . Read more
Fantastic coffee place in the Heights with self roasted Ethiopian beans and even pour over coffee .
Great chai latte ($3.25). Limited space, but they have free WiFi .
Love it here. Super friendly staff , great atmosphere. Get the chai tea latte !
Staff is unnecessarily rude and snippy the last several times I've been in here. The coffee is amazing but I've started going to Starbucks more often because I'm treated like a valued customer there.
Good black coffee , tiny space, wifi available with a code you receive on your reciept. Quiet , clean .
Good coffee from Ethiopia, amazing cheddar scones , interesting cookies ...Neighborhood gem !
The coffee and pastries are good. It's a small place, but there are some benches outside too.
Buunni never turns on the AC , charges extra for everything but cream and milk , and the team is grumpy. Walk a little further to Kuro Kirin for better service, coffee and AC .
The coffee is delicious and for a refreshing snack try one of the People's Pops!
Love the Ethiopian coffee ! Cozy , comfortable ambiance.
Olive oil cake is delicious and not too sweet
Try the Bunna Special. A little slice of espresso heaven.
The cheddar scone is so flaky! Great cafe latte .
They make espresso shots a bit short . If you want a bit more, order long
Eh it’s a bit pricey for the teeny tiny chai latte I ordered. It was good but I swear it seemed like it was half a cup and I was done.
Fantastic espresso . Great vibes.
No restroom , but there is one in a nearby park , Bennett Park .
chai latte w/ soy was yummy
Espresso , chai
Very, very great staff
Magnetic Fields on the stereo=my kinda joint. Finally!
Absolutely delicious coffee .
Apple cider is YUMMMM!
Excellent new cafe in Washington heights. Good juices and sandwiches. Only downside is limited seating - only 4 tables - Colin Lee
Good food made with love. Go for the BLT on a nice sunny spring day. - Mike Johnson
Excellent artichokes and the Shepherds pie is not too shabby either! Service is also friendly and good! Sit upstairs in a booth for a date night. - M-L M
Beautiful at sunset. Can see the GWB from the park. Lots of benches, green patches to have a picnic and walking trails. - Adena Brenowitz
Beautiful historic building and gardens. However, they're missing a clearer narrative to their permanent exhibition. My favorite part was the herbs garden. - Carolina Ribeiro
Great park for kids. Lots to do. Summer water features for the kids. - Aashna S
