Killer new ramen spot! Get the spicy tonkatsu ramen with a helping of extra pulled pork , and an Orion beer imported from Okinawa. Chef here is from one of Michelin's Top 20 ramen spots in Tokyo.
Spicy Miso Ramen : Features a spicy miso broth based on chicken and bonito , with ground pork and sliced pork belly thrown in. Just the thing for a cold winter’s day. Read more
Easily one of my fav ramen spots. The setting is small but with great ambience and decor. The spicy miso was one of the best I've had. Great amount of spice, cilantro and sprouts. Yum. My egg was ????
Excellent ramen here. There usually is a short line or none at all. Featured on Masters of None in one of the conversations between Dev and his date. Decided to check it out—lives up to the hype ????
Top notch ramen . Anything you order is a winner, Spicy Miso was the best we tried. (Spicy Tonkotsu pictured, sooo pretty!)
The shoyu ramens (ginger or yuzu ) are really interesting, but it's hard to compare to how UNBELIEVABLY SILKY the tonkotsu is!
Delicious ramen and really friendly service . Try the ginger or yuzu shoyu . Also those cucumbers are intensely flavorful. It's pretty busy and the tables turn quickly
Awesome ramen . Tried spicy miso , tonkatsu , & yuzu shoyu . The miso noodles were thicker & the broth quite peppery. You can really taste the yuzu and the noodles are medium thick. Tonkatsu wins!
Get the tonkotsu or spicy tonkotsu + the extremely overpriced egg . The rice bowls are pretty solid but all the other ramens and sides aren't quite worth it.
Get the spicy tonkotsu and sit at the bar to watch them painstakingly slice and blowtorch each individual piece of pork belly . Less broth than other places, but makes up for it in flavor.
Lunch special is great, choose a salad or karage fried chicken side. Loved the spicy tonkatsu ramen which comes w half egg . Regular does not.
$15 credit card minimum . Incredibly underrated ramen joint; the spicy tonkotsu boasts rich broth, flavourful egg and roasted pork .
Solid competitor to Ippudo with a wide variety of broths to choose from. Tonkotsu ramen was great with fatty, tasty chasu, as was the chicken karage appetizer .
Spicy tonkostu ramen is delicious and everyone that works here is super nice. Also wait time is normal and the restaurant is a decent size compared to most ramen places
Believe the hype- get the spicy tonkatsu (pro tip: add an extra egg )
Miso ramen is great! Lunch special comes with tasty apps too
All I hear is great things from my meat eating friends, but the vegetarian ramen was a congealed sludge. The sides, however, were delicious.
The spicy miso ramen has a nice blend of pork belly and ground pork . Very heavy meal so get some green tea to counter it.
Nobody actually goes here in the show, but they should! Dev talks about it on a date at Westlight with someone who moonlights as a blogger called the Ramaniac. [Episode 4] Read more
Top notch ramen . Spicy tonkotsu ramen is definitely your move here. Snag a bar seat to watch them work their magic in the kitchen.
So good! Perfect for a quick bowl of noodles on a cold night. Probably one of the bowls I've ever had
Extra egg is the way to go either way, but you want to at least take a peek at the daily specials .
The yuzu ramen w pork belly felt light yet filling - perfect on a sunny yet chilly late March afternoon.
This is the place to go for ramen !! Don't order the chicken wings cause it takes a bath In garlic salt or something. Just do the ramen .
yuzu ramen with extra egg and ground pork ! Yummmm
The vegan and vegetarian option is delicious! Don’t think that just because it has soy milk that it’s bad!
There are a lot of ramen restaurants you could eat at in the Lower East Side, but this one is mine. The spicy tonkotsu has never failed me.
Mr. Taka really opened big here on the LES, serving exceptional food all up and down its impressively extensive menu.
Believe the hype about the spicy tonkotsu ramen . ???? ????????
I'd say above average Ramen , but a little on the pricey side compared to others that are better in my opinion. Don't overlook the specials. The bar overlooking the cooks is a fun spot to sit.
Best new york ramen I ever tried! Sweet new spot at the city .
Spicy tonkatsu was rich and thick with flavor. Packed great for takeout .
The ramen is one of the best in the city .
Solid ramen offering with a nice fat, al dente noodle . Liked the garlic heavy fried chicken as well
Ginger shoyu broth might be my new favorite. Just the right amount of ginger , and the noodles are super tasty.
Just insanely good ramen . Get the spicy miso and literally all the appetizers .
Veggie ramen is best kept secret in New York. Better than any tonkotsu ive had.
Great, GREAT Ramen and chicken wings ! If you go to early you might get steamed up from the freshly made broth fyi.
Curry Ramen was great, gyoza for appetizer was surprisingly amazing!
Love the tonkatsu ramen , there's lunch specials , the portions are pretty generous with a side of salad or chicken .
ITS THE BEST DONT STEP
tonkotsu is creamy but thin on flavor. Shoyu broth is chicken & fish based. Cash only !!
Skip the Ippudo line ! Legit Japanese Ramen . Seasonal Yuzu dip noodles were delish.
The ramen lunch special is an awesome deal. Spicy miso was the way to go
Fantastic spicy ramen ! The buns are also great!
Great service and ramen had the right consistency and tasted delicious!
Every ramen I’ve tried here was very well made ????????
Mr. Taka makes a mean spicy miso . Personally like this better than Ippudo, without the 2 hour wait (for now).
Really tasty ramen and nice extra dishes. Quick and efficient place for a chill dinner .
Wow I like Miso Ramen . They have lunch special from 11-4pm
Perfection in a bowl. Everything is good. If your ramen doesn’t have an egg… get an egg! - Youssof Mal
Their chef special ribs are worth the $$. Incredibly seasoned with a salt sweet taste. Highly recommend the shio ramen - Johnny Wu
Perfect little gem. Get here early though. Also tried cold ramen. Refreshing. - Charley Todd
Might be the best ice cream in NY! Come back often as the flavors change every few days! - Marcel
