Nottingham Contemporary Art Gallery

Excellent quality and variety of drinks, good food and arty (but not pretentious ) environment. There are some really interesting live shows and projects happening if you keep your eyes open

The outside terrace is a rare treat for the city centre, not many beer gardens around. Feels fairly cut off, great place to relax (and hopefully see some sun).

Chat to the staff overseeing the rooms. They are friendly and a wealth of information on the pieces displayed

Best thing there is a great book/souvenirs shop at ground floor. OK exhibitions sometimes.

Sunday jazz band in the cafe is great and there is a bar . On at 1pm.
