Milk and Roses is one of the sweetest places in Greenpoint. Try the organic chicken , simple cooked but so tasty. The space inside is full of vintage details and outside anyone can be happy.

I loved the americano . They serve misceladoro coffee . The food was tasty. And the garden is spacious and very beautiful. The rustic feel and the trees make such a relaxing and lovely atmosphere.

Cynthia Drescher

There are two forms of bread pudding on the menu: sweet or savory. The sweet (pictured) is an excellent dessert . The savory is the Aquasale all'Uovo, more of a lunch entree with bread , green & an egg .

Jess Huey

Backyard garden and greenhouse! Such a cute brunch place with unlimited mimosas . The potato latke with creme fraiche and smoked salmon is really good!

Bashayer

I thought that seating area was it. I left my stuff wandered around and found the most beautiful backyard/garden/green house. So don't sit at the front ! Go to the back!! Also remember CASH ONLY

Max Pollo

Beautiful garden in the back, indoors also lovely. Nice drinks, perfectly grilled octopus and don't forget to ask for risotti of the day!

Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guide

With some of the best cafe design in NYC, with open beams, rough hewn floor, sagging shelves of books , a grand piano , and a leather couch , this is a cozy spot to read, work or meet a friend. Read more

The food here is incredible. Vegetable Napoleon is unassuming, but it's delicately rich and interesting in flavor. The warm ricotta kicks it up a notch. Duck breast also phenomenal.

Ray Lin

Yes, they have both milk and roses here. There's also great food, coffee , wifi , back yard and vintage library decor. Great place to read and/or GSD.

Julia Wu

Seriously one of the most lovely bars I've been in a while. Blood berry / eponymous cocktails were also delicious. Excited to come back & try the food!

Anna N

1. Attend one of the delightful music performances on Tuesday evening 2. Order a savory cheese platter 3. Immerse yourself in huge stacks of books 4. Leave a quote at the bar

Abner Aceves

Really cozy indoors. Something out a movie , great place to bring a date. The back garden though...

It's a great place to grab a quick coffee with friends, warm and cozy and the shelves lined with books makes it feel homey . However, do so without fidgety toddlers!

Meg

Came for brunch & though very cute & what seemed like a nice menu, our food never came after 1hr as we "got caught behind a large order" although we saw 3 people who had sat after us get their food

Ababil Anwar

Lovely place. but went there for dinner and wasn't a fan of the dinner menu . But I think the am menu is better. Cute date spot .

Damon Sununtnasuk

Lovely back garden with tables and benches . A charming find in the neighborhood !

Vivian Ramirez

This place is what date dreams are made of. Romantic place with nice looking apps and drinks. Nice staff - beautiful ambiance.

Nathan Gammie

This is an amazing place. From the hand-written menus on envelopes to the outdoor garden and indoor ambience.

Courtney Klein

The cocktails are seasonal and very creative. I rarely eat here, but on the occasions I have, the food has been fantastic.

Byron Wilkes

They have a great selection of books on the wall that you should take turns reading if you're with a group, or dive into one yourself.

Elena Bazu

The best place in Greenpoint for wine , cocktails , red sofas and piano .

Lots of seating options, a backyard garden , free wifi , many plugs and gorgeous decor make this an excellent working spot. Skip the coffee , food's not bad. Read more

No laptops after 5pm, but really, why do work here then anyway? Enjoy this gem of a wine bar and live a little.

Kelsey✨

Surprisingly uncrowded for brunch , despite their overly hipster set-up. Definitely a plus

Luke

Come in the spring and sit in the backyard . Come in the winter and sit in the very bookish interior

Alex Mizrahi

Lots of old books lining the walls, great coffee and croissants , ample work space and plugs and wifi...This place is heavenly.

Jake Dylan

Great panini . Enjoy the Gorgonzola and figs sandwich in the patio at the back

If you're not used to Italian hot chocolate , you could be excused for thinking you'd mis-ordered pudding by mistake. Rich & thick, the spoon stands up straight. Read more
