An amazing venue for a big event . Came here to watch the WWE wrestling, and it was brilliantly organised. Very easy to get too and to find your way around. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The best way to get here is by train . On gig days there are special direct services between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street, so you'll be back in the city centre in no time!
This is an excellent music venue and so convenient for the city centre afterwards
Walk and have a drink on the Hilton before leaving for your car, they have costas in there and it's a great atmosphere after an event
Great venue for concerts just need to be cheaper for parking 15.00 for parking when the event we went to only cost 20.00 is madness
Park in the train station car park . Validate ticket before your show. Just a 10 min walk from there to the arena entrance.
I was there for the Arcade Fire and besides the parking it was pretty Cool.

If you are staying in the Hilton it's only a 5 min walk to the Arena....ask the Hotel concierge for a map
Two free cashpoints a few minutes away in the train station . They charge £2 to use in the NEC. there's a subway there too, less busy than the NEC one!
There is some really nice food to be had at the intervals if you look closely!

Worst venue security ever, they had absolutely no consideration for those who queued out for the show. This area is WAY over priced (including Subway!), eat before you leave the city .
