National Exhibition Centre (NEC)

£12 to park - dire restaurants - BYO packed lunch and flask. This is one of the most expensive conference halls in the UK (possibly Europe). Security can be a jobsworth with cameras .

Great exhibition space with good food outlets on site at reasonable prices. This site is huge - allow plenty of time to get from the car parks , especially if using the buses .

Free shuttle bus from the car park . Always recommend pre booking your parking or you'll spend ages queuing up for a ticket!

Haves visited events here a few times and enjoyed them all.Close to the station and hotels .Make sure you check which hall your event is in as the place is huge.

Park at international station as off peak it's only £5 - half the price of parking at the NEC

Awkward venue, compared to Excel. Always have food and drink with you as prices are too high. Have comfortable shoes as you will walk a lot.

Avoid huge queues for food & take the 5 min walk to Resorts World to find Costa, Starbucks, Pat Val, TGI's, Nando's, GBK, Pizza Express, Las Iguanas & Andy Waters to sate your appetite

Absolutely HUGE - wear comfortable shoes ! Very accessible with Birmingham International just a short walk away!

If you're coming by train and your event is in Halls 7-12 allow plenty of time to get back to the station, it's a seriously long walk !

15.00 parking when the event we went to only cost 20.00 to go to is madness

A huge place, if you are told its a 10 minute walk, it's a 10 minute. Be prepared to find it hard to find seating and paying £10 to park .

Great centre lots of space to wander about.

Hall 11 is a very long walk from the Crowne Plaza hotel

It was good at all. Everyone was interested and informative.
