Disney's Old Key West Resort

A hearty "welcome home " is an appropriate greeting as you enter Disney's Old Key West Resort. This "home away from home" resort is designed for relaxation with its quiet peaceful atmosphere

All kitchen appliances work great, being able to make dinners saved a lot of $$. Ask, when booking , how to order &have groceries delivered the day you arrive! Very convenient. Nothing bad to say!

Disney's first Vacation Club Resort , and still a great place to stay on property. Good location and Olivia 's food is yummy casual eating.

Gorgeous and large rooms on a golf course . Direct boat access to Downtown Disney. Pool activities and more. It feels like a little town in the middle of Disney.

My favorite hotel of all the Disney resorts . My family has been members for 20 years and we visit several times a year. It's very homey and super friendly

The best part about Walt Disney World is the bus system. You can get everywhere from Old Key West ... so why stay in a small villa close to the parks when Old Key West rooms are huge and there is free

Olivia 's cafe is delightful, the food unique and high quality. Sea scallops over creamy polenta was a dish to repeat! Definite new favorite...

By get the best resort at Disney. Huge units, full kitchens , 24 hour pool, excellent bar and a great workout facility ... What else can you ask for?

Great resort if you stay near the hospitality house and are returning from the parks get off at peninsular road and walk otherwise you will be on the bus an extra 20 mins.

Friendly bartenders at gurgling suitcase . 1 bedroom has Full kitchen and living room. Great place to spend dvc points as it's not very expensive to stay here in comparison to the other resorts

Hit up one of the two arcades , "The Electric Eel " on Turtle Krawl(main pool area ) and "The Flying Fish " at Turtle Shack(Turtle Pond pool).

If taking a bus to the parks first thing in the morning, walk to the Peninsular Rd stop instead of the Hospitality House stop - you'll get on 1st and be able to sit. Buses are often full at last stop.

This is a favorite resort for many Disney fans and is one of the more affordable locations. Book it early.

This resort includes free Wi-Fi, abundant electrical outlets , modern appliances , including washer and dryer, iPod docking clock, 32" LCD TVs in each room, DVD player in living room.

When you book your room, ask for Building 23. Very close to the first stop on the Disney Transportation stops at OKW!

Relax after running around the theme parks . Easy access and transportation to and from all.

Good place to run if you can find the Conch Flats Trail . Start at Villa 55. Follow the trail to Tee #1, then go left across the bridge . Run laps around the lake at Saratoga Springs.

There is a toddler pool behind the main pool my daughter loved. Also beware: there are no internal transfer buses at OKW!!

You can "rent" games and movies and take them back to your room if you are a DVC member, perfect for a stormy night/day when your stuck in the room.

Best Disney resto. Older but it has a lot of space.

The best thing about this resort are the massive rooms and private pools. Stay here if you want to hang around the resort . Transportation is inconvenient and the magic really seems to be lacking.

Olivia 's blueberry pancakes are fantastic.. with both fresh berries and the syrup . The b'fast potatoes are also delicious!

Debbie at reception looks after all postage so if you get something shipped here she's always on top game!

Make sure to double check the list in the cupboard to ensure you have everything they provide.

If stairs are a problem for you, be sure to ask for a ground-floor unit -- there are no elevators in the 3-story buildings.

OKW has the largest villas among the DVC resorts . Extra storage space in the master bedroom and in the main living room. Larger patios than normal.

Avoid the rooms in block 20, the busses all turn around outside your window and it's very noisy ; also it's a long walk from the restaurant and there is very little parking if you drive.

Beautiful resort ! Very comfy !

Really nice resort but for that kind of money the wifi should work way better than it does. Slow speeds and drops connection all over the resort .

The rooms are big can easily sleep six and nine if you use the pullouts.

If you need assistance at the concierge desk, ask for William. He rocks!

The French dip is very good!

OKW has other pools that are that are a little more secluded if you're looking to just relax

Ask for building 62 if you want to be near Hospitaly House.
