Their ahi tuna appetizer is delicious just beware that there's a lot of cilantro on the dish. The fried chicken and pork chop are hits on the menu. Great mules as well for beverages.
Milk punch . If you booze, this is something you can't miss. Just make sure that you put it across the table or you'll drink it up in 60 seconds. Food is solid and the salads are always amazing.
Good spot if you're near the waterfront and don't want to eat in the Ferry Building or if you're out with kids. The menu has something for everyone, but isn't junk which is why it gets a like from me.
Forget every opinion you had about the old Fog City Diner . This is an entirely new restaurant , and A very good one at that.
The deviled egg trend continues to grow at Fog City: The filling is given texture with whole-grain mustard , and is topped with crispy quinoa and bacon . Read more
Wonderful deviled eggs . Wash them down with a Lazy Lion. Yes, it's expensive , but I do enjoy the atmosphere of diner + nice cocktails for some reason.
Still a fantastic option along the Embarcadero with strong tasty drinks and food

Pretty good, although service can be hit-or-miss. Open all day, so good if you're wanting a snack or drink in the middle of the day near Embarcadero
Pleasant diner vibe with fresh, Californian food. Downside: gets very, VERY, loud at lunch (and probably dinner too).
First time here since the remodel. They really opened up the room. Saigon Dip is my favorite from the new menu.
Love the @Fog_CitySF credit card doohickey! Classy and kitschy at the same time.
If you get the fresh French Crullers {& you should}, may we suggest having them with Chef Aaron's Egg Yolk Caramel Sauce [just do it].
$1.50 oysters on weekdays from 4-6pm, which comes with oak barrel-aged hot sauce and really good shallot mignonette
The grilled roasted chicken was awesome, and the charcuterie plate is also highly recommended.
The Danish salmon smørrebrød is fantastic. And that comes from a dane :)
Amazing food and great cocktails , you should try the Paloma!
The menu has totally changed from Fog City Diner days!!! Kind of disappointing! But the new menu's food tasted very good!
I Loved the Kale salad + rickey lemonade
Deviled eggs and grilled local calamari . This is all you need to know.
Love the fries & garlic aioli ! The green chili apple pie was pretty good too.
Smørrebrød !! Great combination of Danish and Californian flavors. Delicious!
Chilled Raw Oysters On Half Shell and Deviled are so good.
A little expensive for what you get. Definitely get the fries though, they are fantastic!
Awesome new menu, and redesign! Loved all of the food!
Beautiful, but if I wanted to go to Hillstone, I would have. Over priced and limited menu. $16 chicken soup ? I want my truffle fries ! Bad choice folks. Put the "Diner " back in Fog City.
Really love the food. Service last time was really off. But worth trying again.
The Chicken for two could feed three easily. Very good.
Deviled egg is real good. So is baba ganoush
Wow. I should have looked at the prices before I sat down. $21 for a hamburger with fries . $8 beers ... I know this is SF but damn.
Try the milk punch , you won't regret it.
Frozen egg custard while enjoying a lovely SF afternoon.
Underwhelming in most respects. Bring or ask for salt as the seasoning is as "under" as the "whelming."
Yum! They have removed the 'diner ' but not dinner !
Frozen Custard with Egg Yolk Caramel ($6 + $1)
Hand-cut Furikake Fries with Garlic Aioli are ono!
Have to get the Bloody Devil!
Get the beef cheeks
Decent place for brunch with a group.
Keep it real simple here. Maybe stick with a salad .
The chicken is always wonderful.
The fries are redic.
As seen on Travel Channel 's Diner Paradise. Not a diner anymore?
Awful service, tiny portions, overpriced food. Had to wait 2.5 hours for food, continuously asking for bread (received at 2-hour mark). When asked for food to-go, rude staff cancelled half our orders.
Grandpa's breakfast - like mulled wine with whiskey .
Get the tongue AND the cheeks!
Great new addition to Chestnut street. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Food is pretty awesome too. - Mischa Lumiere
Chorizo hash for breakfast is delicious. Slightly spicy with lots of veggies. Good paleo / gluten free option too. - Anthony Maggio
Beautiful space, food, and service. Make reservations. Try a number of dishes and end with a shot of peanut milk. - Bommy
A full day of fun for all ages. Great cafe. Come with a group. - Jeff Weinstein
Awesome (if a little pricy) market inside, and ferry rides out the back. Worth going on Saturday for the farmer's market. - Dana
A hidden gem. If you enter from Embarcadero it feels like a secret garden. - Brad Manzer
