DiMillo's on the Water

Old school restaurant and it shows, But the view from outside is great. Topside is the only way to eat. the Frutta Di Mare was just ok, but wow the Lobster Mac & cheese was the best we've ever had.

The bloody Mary's are awesome. Try the clam chowder , the best I've ever had. The twin lobster plate was out of this world good.

Lobster mac & cheese is so velvety luxe, some inappropriate noises may escape your throat after taking a bite. Lobster , marscapone , cognac...bomchickawowow.

Great Atmosphere and very posh. You need a reservation ahead for Dinner . We tried in the evening without luck. But lunch is easier to get in. Lobster Mac and cheese was really good. Fish tacos as well

Our server Bob was great! Not much for non-seafood dishes but was able to order a pasta dish without it! Captains platter was good size. A bit pricey . Free parking so bring your ticket with you!

To die for Lobster Stew . Go for the bowl. Milky , not thick. It's addictive and the best we've ever had. Delicious filet and prime rib as well . Never a disappointment!

Great location and awesome service. Classic New England fare, with super variations . Try the deep fried lobster ! Should be illegal (but I'm glad it's not)! Truly a great place all around!

DiMillo's is a floating restaurant.. converted from an old ferry inside you will find lots of historical photos. Nice views of Portland Harbor . Don't miss the boat!

Perfect spot to end the day. Tried the Shipyard brew from a recommendation, pur-dee damn good if I must say so.

Dining alone so sat at bar . The bacon wrapped scallops were awesome, the clam chowder was thick and delicious. Excellent local craft beer selection .

The meatball app and muscles app are outstanding...as was the lobster (prepared in any way). Only drawback was the overlooking of a filet requested rare. If you like it medium, it would be perfect.

We ate in the lounge and it was SO delicious. No pressure to order large meals and just a very fine place to dine. Loved it.

Get the bacon wrapped scallops . We are obsessed. They also serve a perfect traditional daiquiri but you need to remember to ask for it "up." Good stuff!

Try eat in the dining room. The view was awesome and waitress was super friendly . Stuffed & baked lobster was delicious and huge.

Great atmosphere as it sits right near if not on the marina . Plenty of lobster dishes to choose from so if you're in the mood for lobster , this is your restaurant .

Fun place if your a tourist . Great place to take visiting family or friends from out of state . Love that it's on a boat.

Get the table (couch ) outside on the first level for a comfortable and great view of the docks. Feisty burger was fantastic!

Get the crab cakes , ny strip and the lazy lobster .

If you are in for lunch get the lobster club . It's the perfect sammy.

Tony DiMillo once told me, all he wanted was to sell drinks, but people kept asking for food and, before he knew it, he was running a full service restaurant . Scenic water views , prices a bit upscale .

If you're lazy and you like lobster get the lazy lobster . If you're not lazy and you like lobster get the not so lazy lobster .

Boiled haddock , scallops and shrimp lightly dusted with bread crumbs . Dee-licious.

Good spot if you are 50 or older. Head next door to Portland Lobster Co. for an outdoor patio and live music !

Delicious food and great for when you want to hand out with people older than fifty.

CALL A DAY IN ADVANCE FOR A RESERVATION!! They don’t do same day reservations and the wait time is ridic.

Free food during happy hour during the summer! Awesome drinks too.

In general great. My lobster was a little over cooked.

The portions are so small for the high price! Deception. Plus we had to wait more than an hour to have a table and they even didn’t care to skip us for other clients, it wasn’t right.
