Fantastic tour ! The house and grounds are magnificent and grand! Our tour guide , Patrick, was wonderful! He knew so much of the history and was personable. He was able to answer all of our questions.
Definitely try to get Judy Davis ( self proclaimed 'chunky black woman' as your tour guide ! She's super knowledgeable , personable, and friendly . Totally worth it!
The current owner actually resides in the home. Very different "museum " atmosphere in the fact that you can actually touch and get up close and personal with the historic pieces in this historic gem.
More than just a plantation house tour . There's an artist in residence at the Gallery Noir. The gardens are beautiful, and there's a little bar (Turtle bar ) and restaurant on site.

This plantation is absolutely lovely. The tour guide judy davis is fabulous. She is the best guide. If your taking the tour make sure you get her.
