Get a table on the top balcony - it's cooler, quieter , and the view is amazing. Head downstairs and on Sunday afternoons the vibe will make you feel like you're in Europe. Sunset beach rosé is lovely

Take the seaplane to come over here from NYC ! All the food is really great, the service is great too. Rooms are cute ! There is nothing else to do on the island for the record... The beach is nice

Great ambiance. Great place to get a drink downstairs first. Lovely views up top. Halibut was delish! Also loved froze and artichokes :)

My favorite spot on Long Island . Cannot beat the atmosphere, or the food. Go early for a cocktail & enjoy the incredible sunset on the beach . Must try the mussels , grilled octopus , and veal Milanese.

White sangria cocktail (~14$) was light, refreshing and full of fruity flavours! Great for summer nights!

Love breakfast here ! The "UnHampton" our favorite spot for breakfast ! Parking easy in the morning - leisurely - relax and enjoy !!

Watch the sunset while drinking their signature Gimme Shelter cocktail and dining on fresh seafood . Later in the evening it becomes a party.

The best nightlife spot in the Hamptons if you don't mind a ferry ride and a short drive. Great atmosphere, and a classy crowd all around.

Great Bar/Lounge and excellent restaurant . Reservations for Lunch & Dinner a must. Try to sit on the upper deck to enjoy the view !

A very boring weekend. By that I mean there is this giant machine boring a tunnel to the other side of the bay where the sun sets. Very interesting to watch.

Don't come here after it gets dark. The hefty prices are only worth it combined with the water views , daytime of course. Good food overall.

It's pretentious , overpriced, and sceney . But isn't that why you head out east? It made for a nice getaway, grab an expensive snack and enjoy the beach/view.

There's nothing like it. Stay at the hotel if you can because Uber's are non-existent and taxi 's take forever. Can't wait to go back.

The rose sangria is delicious--not too sweet, and brimming with peaches .

We got a big plate of raw vegetables . It made no sense. And it cost 26 dollars. Also not a big fan of the pretentiois half french/half american menu. Very premium prices for not so premium food.

Sunset Beach is owned by the Standard but definitely takes the worst aspects of their other hotels more than anything else... overpriced cocktails , unbearable clientele, crummy beachfront.

Beautiful women and scenery. You'll need a neck brace after enjoying a day/night here.

It can get so euro trashy and gross here but there really is no competition for nightlife in shelter island at all.

The lobster summer rolls are light, fresh and delicious.. :)
