Chinatown Street Market

It's always packed here. Lots of things to see, eat and buy. Try everything if you must. I visited on the week prior to Chinese New Year and I have to say the mood is delightfully festive .

The best time to experience Chinatown is the week before Chinese New Year . Admire the springtime flowers and Chinese décor on display as you sample local street fare from various shops.

You mostl find here just cheap turist souvenir stuff, but if you look carefully in the hidden corners you can also find real gems as chinese tea shop or wood craftsmen shop

Very touristy food street. The fold is better and cheaper in the chintown complex hawker Centre which is a 2 min walk from here. Go eat with the locals and experience real Singapore

Singapore is modern mostly, one of the ethnic neighborhoods in town . Worths a visit, especially for an economic lunch , visit the hindu temples in this zone.

Careful some shops do try to overcharge. But there are still many honest shops here with price tags and its still a good place to visit, especially during CNY period. Visit the Heritage Museum !

Cheaper souvenir price compare with Bugis Junction. We can get 18 key holders for $5, 7 tote bag for $10, etc. Lots of street food too.

This place comes alive pre-lunar new year with lots to see, buy, savour and lots of photo opportunities ! The street is beautifully decorated!

It's very different with the chinatown in KL. Here you can buy souvenirs , try various foods, and a good place to stroll.

China Town Singapore. Busy during Chinese New Year Festive Holiday.

I went up to food centre and found new stall selling fried pumpkin cake very delicious and unique. Must try! stall no 65.

The merchandise is mostly same same, But still, some hidden gems can be found.
