Chwee kueh #02-43! The kueh was non-sticky and light, paired with chai por that is nicely fried, not drenched in oil. Chilli with hints of shrimp , the dish balances a light base and savory goodness!

Yuet loy food store (#02-151) serves good Cantonese dishes. Ordered beef kailan , black bean fish head, salted fish chicken and golden coin tou fu. All highly recommended. Yum yum !!
Hawker chan 02-126 chicken rice was superb. Opens at 10.30am and there was already a short line . My favourite was char siu pork . Better flavour and more succulent. Can’t go wrong with anything here!

Outram Park Roasted Meat #02-13/14 is as good as our 4SQ friends described. Pork & duck meat skillfully roasted, w a wonderful smoky fragrant & flavour. Chilli sauce thick & not so spicy .

Freshly-made Chinese dumplings . XLBs from Michelin-recommended Zhong Guo La Mian Xiao Long Bao #02-135 were yummy but lacked the moist burst. Their Spicy Wontons were the surprising winner. Yumz!

Emerald Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle @ #02-044: 1 out of 2 stalls where mum likes to da-bao whole chicken back home. Its flavourful & not too saltish, I also like. This stall is slightly cheaper

Nasi Lemak . A popular Malay food, I enjoyed the fried chicken wing from Aziz Jaffar Muslim Food #02-70. The chilli paste to flavour the already fragrant was not overly spicy
