The pasteles are the best Puerto Rican pasteles I've tried next to my grandma's homemade ones. I was so impressed!! You can't find these anywhere else. #amazing!

if your are new try this: Start with an Alcapurria as an app, then get the Steak Jibarito with extra garlic and Arroz con Gandules . Wash it down with Paracha(Passion Fruit Juice ).

This is the where the Jibarito , a sandwich with fried plantains instead of bread , was first made.

Food is good but I miss New Yorkrican food. Also takes a while to get food so don't come in a rush or your lunch break. They have take out but again food is good.

Fyi: you're not limited to arroz con gandules when ordering a Jibarito ! Feel free to ask for white rice & beans!! Yum!

Arroz con gandules were my favorite thing here. Personally think there are better jibaritos in the area, but still solid.

The mofongo is pure garlicky bliss. As good as it is back on the island .

I've had better jibaritos ! The papa rellenas skin was all hard, when usually u get to eat the whole thing, I was lucky I got papa and beef in it. 

I can't stand the service here but the food is always good. That's why I get my food to go lol

Vegetarian Jibaritos are too good. I'll take my sandwich between plantains any day.

Call ahead and pick up orders go faster.

On busy days, be prepared to wait for dine in service. But it's SO worth the wait!
