One of the most famous national historic sites and New York attractions, Old Fort Niagara, has been a destination for residents and tourists to the Buffalo and Niagara Falls area since the early 1900s.

Must visit to see the fort and French castle . So much history from the French and Indian war to WWI. Stay for the musket demonstration and spectacular views of Lake Ontario .
Best Fort I have seen and I have seen a lot.... If you are going to Niagara Falls, make sure have time to visit here...
Fantastic time at the Haunted Fortress . I highly recommend it, even if it's aimed at 8 year old comfort level. You learn a lot about the history of the place.
Participated in a Niagara tour group trip and this was one of the stops. Only had an hour here which wasn't enough time. Did get to see a very neat historical gun demo though!
Awesome place to visit, lots to see and take pictures of.
Most famous for "The Headless Frenchman", killed in a duel over an Iroquois maiden, beheaded and his head thrown into the Niagara River .
A must visit when in the area. Great history.
On a clear day, you can see Toronto across Lake Ontario .
French and Indian War Encampment weekend in July is the best event to visit!
Loved the musket demonstrations
All the sights and the night battle
The Haunted Fortress was awsome!!!
Pretty cool learned some history
Beautiful place I love gun shoot show
Avoid when school groups are at the fort. Kids suck.
Un lugar muy bueno para visitar. Muy apasible

Worth the money, best way to see niagara. You get soaked, but they provide ponchos and sandals. But still be ready to get soaked. Awesome overall. - Emily S
We got here almost at 10pm. People were just streaming out when the fireworks display started. Excellent timing. Fabulous end to the day. - Nathaniel Heng
Take the trail with the stairs. On the way back up, count the stairs. It's a good way to forget that you were crazy for going down them in the first place. - Greg Norman
Lots of space to walk. Recommend visit in the off season. Great sights. - Jennifer Samardak
The people here were very friendly. Loved the scenic views. - Cliff Downey
