Whirlpool State Park

AMAZING! The water flows in and changes direction. A spectacular view ! We saw people fishing at the bottom area, they seemed to have great luck!

There are a few issues with some of the trails . Part of 5 is undeveloped..but if you go in the opposite direction on the trail you will find a true treasure that makes this "difficult" hike worth it!

You can hike down to Devil's Hole from there. Look up Devil's Hole Massacre. It is a long walk to the bottom of the gorge. The trail is under marked.

Excellent place fot a picnic . Views of the whirlpool are excellent. You can watch the Spanish aerial car that goes over the whirlpool .

The people here were very friendly . Loved the scenic views .

Parking is free here, unlike some of the other parks in the Falls area.

Leilac Gardens . The scent iş to die for.

Bring your sneakers and go for a comfortable hike with a view .

Who know they had swings and a small playground here? I thought only DeVeaux Woods State Park had that stuff. Bring bug spray!!
