A true find! From top to bottom everything was a treat. Stand outs - baby octopus w chickpea purée, roast carrot salad and pasta w meatballs . This is the kind of place to aspire to be a regular.
This authentic little subterranean Italian cafe somehow manages to remain off the radar. Don't miss the excellent soups or schiacciata flatbread sandwiches & read all about it on WinstonWanders below. Read more
Awesome bar/resto. Versatile. Can read a book outside and have a Campari , or dinner with a group of 4, or a date at the bar . Hidden but welcoming.
This is an ideal venue for subterranean food and drinks for two or four. It's busy with locals, decently priced and certain to be around as the Hudson Square neighborhood continues to grow.
I think I'm in love with this place. It's kinda underground. Go here on a date or with a friend. Get any dish with meatballs and def get the fennel side!
Super cute spot for a date, I got the fish of the day which was snapper -- pan seared with veggies . Super affordable , a little hidden!
Gorgeous little gem in the neighbourhood, perfect for a date or intimate dinner with a good friend. Chicken liver pate is amazing, as is the house made pasta .
All tasty options. Assorted meat and cheeses followed by Carbonara with poached egg !
Cute and cozy space with solid Italian fare but our table of four was so close to the bar I kept getting hit in the back by passers by. Not ideal
Loved the fresh pasta , especially the pasta strips cooked in red wine with guanciale .
Super fresh pasta with a very friendly and authentic staff . Very accommodating to big groups
Such a wonderful place to enjoy a cappuccino , soup and sandwich . The taste of Italy in an off the beaten track area of SoHo.
Cozy , delightful, and reasonable. For vegetarians , the ravioli is top pick.
Awesome place for a drink. Love the bar and the bartender makes really excellent drinks.
Rapidly becoming on of my favorite mood restaurants ! Atmosphere, service, music cant be beat!
For a good selection of music and a very fresh pasta !
Everything is so well balanced, love this menu. Really complementary wines too.
You must try the Schiaccita "Prosciutto crudo e pisellini" or the meatballs !
Come for the pasta , stay for the candlelight . Best tiramisu and service in all the land.
Excellent pasta ! Try the tagliatelle w meatballs or the striche. Delicious!
So rare to find a vegetarian lasagna . This one is delicate and delicious.
Cozy , authentic , excellwnr home made pastas and taglieri
Amazing food, the papperdelle is good
The tagliatelle was fantastic and the service was even better!
Friendly service and healthy options . The zucchini and farrow salad is so tasty.
Great food, impeccable service , and a nice setting overall.
Meatballs and LILA cocktail are great! The rest of the dishes were tasty, but not too memorable.
The meatballs . Light. Delicious. Perfection. Love the staff .
The lasagna was the best I've ever had!
Nice & cozy but not the best place for vegetarians or going with kids
Octopus , pappardelle
Great food, great wine ... 10 points in my book
Tiramisu and vegetable lasagna ????????
Get the Arista al Forno , the pork is amazing.
Squid ink spaghetti was delicious!
Get the meatballs and the strisce alla Chiantigiana
Buono buono.. Ask Enrico to talk to you about Italian politics..
The ravioli and the pappardelle !
Try the meatballs .

Service. Food.
"C'e un ambiente italiano, un menù italiano, e sto parlando con camerieri italiani IN ITALIANO . Evviva!"
Cacio e pepe , meatballs, cocktails !
Le strisce :)
Più italiano di così..
Razor Clams and Stracciatella Cheese Toast were phenomenal. Great music - 90s Hip Hop - Dan Fetzner
First time dining at the new location: we liked the new space. The food is still top-notch (grilled turbot was fantastic). Watch-out for the “beautiful & rich crowd” on week-ends. - Renaud #
Get the Mezzaluna pasta and ask them to make it spicy. So delicious. On par with the spaghetti. - Sonal U
