Noah Purifoy moved from Los Angeles to the desert of Joshua Tree in search of the perfect place to express his creativity. He found a piece of land, 15 acres in the town of Joshua Tree, where he spent 15 years filling up the whole place with amazing art works.

An art exhibit that makes for a unique JT experience. It's different and makes you think out of the box. The desert is already a surreal place & this outdoor art installation adds to the eerie feeling
SAT/SUN SUGGESTED: Sprawling outdoor desert art installation , using found objects (old tires , bicycles , etc), Easily found on Google Maps. Worth a visit! In the open sun, so watch the heat!
Fun place to explore some unique art . Clearly the work of a strong vision, well worth a stop to get a view on a certain period of art in a one of a kind location.
Seemingly out in the middle of nowhere is this sprawling outdoor desert museum made of found art from junked materials, like bicycles atop of a teeter-totter on a wooden cabin-like structure . Read more

Rotting, decrepit assemblage art from a post apocalyptic wasteland. One of my favorite places on earth. The art here is dangerous and will injure you, so wear sturdy shoes .
From Joshua Tree/29 Palms/62, head north on Sunburst, right on Golden, left on Border, right Aberdeen (start following small signs), left on Center, right on Blair
There is so much here to see! I've been here three or four times and always find a few new thing to check out.
Check out this desert art installation if your have time!
