For a perfect combo of land and sea, try the split baby milkfish and the tocino (aka sweet Filipino bacon ) which are available together on a combo platter. Read more
Sisig and crispy pork belly are to die for. Love how they describe sisig as chopped pork belly in the menu; news flash it's all the other delicious parts of a pig ('s face)!
filling and inexpensive brunch and lunch deals . try the chicken or pork adobo , and the tapsilog too. don't leave without halo halo , the ube ice cream is lovely and indulgent
Everything. Lumpiang are amazing, pork belly melts in your mouth, lugaw is gingery goodness. Fantastic spot.
Pork sinigang is really good and sour, and the binagoongan is surprisingly tender. I'm from the Philippines and this is the best Filipino food in NYC.
Traditional Filipino food (no twists here, unlike Maharlika and Jeepney), consistently good. Pinakbet , tocino , adobo are winners. Get the halo-halo; easily rivals the one at the Peninsula Manila.
Whoever cooks or makes the Lechon kawali now and dinuguan oh my gulay it's amazing.
If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine, look no further. Grill 21's Sizzling Sisig and Crispy Pata will clog your arteries (in the best way possible) in no time.
If you're a bacon lover, go for the Tosilog with a fried egg over rice . A little bit of a sweet and savory splurge, you'll be chowing down a pretty awesome meal.
Great place to stop in for lunch . Had the dinuguan and garlic rice lunch special , and it was great.
It's all about the halo-halo and bistec . Reminds me of cafes in Ayala Alabang, Manila. Share authentic Filipino (vs fusion) with friends here if you don't have patience for Queens, like me.
(headless) sinigang na hipon: is one reason why I never ordered it here after my first try but the good thing about it this time is that the broth has improved ???? it's sampalok asim good
The Lechon is world class !
Sisig all day
Probably the most authentic Filipino menu in Manhattan
Mom-approved Filipino food . Get dinuguan , tocino , sinigang , and pancit palabok . Finish with the halo-halo special. Busog na ako! - Jake Manabat, Hunting Season
Try the Ginataang Tilapia - Whole deep fried tilapia cooked in coconut milk with spinach (via @Foodspotting)
A truly hidden gem ! Try the Adobo Pork Chunks – the pork is so tender you won’t need to use your knife and can give back to your waiter !
Honest Filipino food in a no frills space. The tapa and garlic rice was delicious.
Totally authentic Filipino food . Great place for brunch and lunch !
Crispy Pata , Kare-Kare, Sisig , Binagoongan, Dinugu-an, Lumpia Shanghai and Lechon Kawali... Hmmm... The best Leche Flan , Cassava Cake , Halo-Halo and Bibingka . Yummy!
I'm always looking for some good filipino places in NYC and this one is one of the few left in the Manhattan area. If you can't make it out to Queens or Jersey City , definitely check this place out. Read more
Have the fried milk fish with garlic fried rice !!! Finish up with the hallo hallo with taro ice-cream. Grilled pork is good but you have to share it or you will die of super grease overload.
Excellent, low stress Filipino food . Asked for recommendations and they were great.
Best Filipino Brunch in Manhattan. Get the tosilog with garlic fried rice and wash it down with Buko Juice
Try the Crispy Pata - Pork knuckle fried to crispy (via @Foodspotting)
Order the lumpia sariwa & the lechon :)
I like ice cream here~and pork is okay
Homey authentic Filipino restaurant .
Great Filipino food and down to earth Nanay's kitchen feel.
Try the grilled pork belly (via @Foodspotting)

Safe Pinoy food in the city and always accommodating!
Huge portions , home style cooking , and great food.
Got the chicken adobo and it was pretty good... The people are nice and the regular are even nicer!
Crispy Pata , you so crispy !
Best sinigang na baboy, ever. Get it if you like tangy , soupy things.
Authentic Filipino food ????
Ask them to double fry the crispy pata and mix in a stick of butter in your rice
Try the Chicken Adobo (via @Foodspotting)
A wonderful and generous portion of deliciousness in a bowl...
Their Pinaputok was neither as described (neither steamed nor in leaves) & so unfresh that I was severely ill for 2 days. Be warned.
if you're feeling daring, get the Sisig <3 and make sure you leave room for Dessert !
The pancit and leche flan take me back home. "lutong bahay" - home style Filipino cooking!
Bistec and garlic rice is amazinggg
Delicious authentic filipano food. the chicken adobo , flan , cassava cake are wow!
Nice lunch/brunch specials. Brunch options are very fun.
Tilapia with spinach . You won't regret it
Great authentic food but service can be very inconsistent - slow, wrong orders, forgotten orders, etc. Try to go at odd times when there aren't too many people.
Quick lunch service. Adobo chicken was delicious
Pork sisig & garlic rice - the breakfast combo with fried eggs is nice too. - Laura Roos
The fried chicken. A little different from the usual American fried chicken. This has a nice flavor to it. And the staff, they are very cute and friendly. - Leon
Coconut rice, barbecue ribs, pork with egg noodles and the desert with rato ice cream! - Lais Scheffler
Stadium seating, friendly staff and away from the tourists. One of my fav theaters in the city! - Norman Ellis
Good space, staff is nice (unexpected coming from Starbucks) - Rodrigo Artavia
It's a charming, though small park. It's definitely worth a re-route if you're in the area. - DoubleDeuce
