If possible try to visit during Easter, Christmas or Halloween . This place will decorate the restaurant with the most elaborate themes I have ever seen - plus the food is great!

There's a reason this was an award winning dish. Best ravioli I've had of all my years eating this pasta . The sauce was incredible and the ravioli was stuffed with delicious brisket .

A little pricey but so worth it considering the huge portions & DELICIOUS food & awesome service! Oh & complimentary amaretto ?! Perfection. Definitely try to make a reservation though, t'was busy.

I ordered the Misto Di Mare Filomina, it has all kinds of seafood & its a huge portion , it was good, I came here mid October the place was a halloween fest they went all out on decoration AMAZING

This place is an institution for a reason. It’s a classic, American Italian restaurant The Sunday sauce is perfect. The meatballs are as big as your fists and the raviolis are like hockey pucks! ????

Fabulous, as usual. Loved their calamari , arancini and mozzarella in carrozza and tortelloni di Michele and macadamia nut white chocolate mousse cake . Staff attentive, knowledgeable and very pleasant

Our experience was AMAZING in every single way. Our waiter Todd was so great. We ordered the lobster linguine , one of the absolute best & the beef lasagna , it was divine as well .

A wonderful restaurant that maintains the typical atmosphere of old Italian places . Pasta is good and the choices are endless. And of course, end your meal with dessert and free sambucca or amaretto !

Sandi Ravioli was great tasting with 4 very large raviolis . The chicken parm , ravioli matrimonia, and the lasagna were all delicious with plenty to take home. Friendly wait staff as well .

I love this restaurant ; I sought it out with my son when I returned after over 15 years! The staff is amazing, management will check in on your experience and are super friendly , and food is amazing!

What isn’t good? We tried the meatballs , sautéed kalamari, ravioli and tortellini and all was excellent. Service was brisk, attentive and friendly ! We will return!

Veal parm is the way to go, but save room for desserts - they have an amazing assortment of cakes . A great place to visit during the holidays.

Very filling and tender. If there are multiple plates ordered, I recommend sharing this with someone. The veal chop will leave you stuffed but very satisfied.

There are not enough words to describe the Filomena Ristorante experience. At the end of the meal, there is complementary Sambuca and Amaretto . Love the place.

Tortellini and raviolis were excellent as was the sauce and meatballs . Sautéed kalamari preparation was unique and a must try!

The best pasta in DC! It is loud and can be a bit slow, but food and service are excellent. "Grandma" in the window on Wisconsin Ave. handmaking the pasta is neat also.

The meatballs were delicious, we had the strawberry cheesecake and it's highly recommend, overall, a good experience!

My date and I each had a salad , we shared a appetizer and an entree.....even with sharing we could not finish everything. It was delicious. Make a reservation .....

Delicious food with a total cliche Grandma's house ambiance. Gotta love it! :) Complimentary carafe of Armaretto or Sambucca is a nice touch. GRANDE!!
