Great service. Other reviewers have commented on the "rude host ." There is often a line , so the host can be curt.The horchata is excellent. Try the mission burrito with beef and chicken mixed!

The empalmada was my favorite! Really similar to a quesadilla : tortillas with chicken and cheese inside, more cheese on top and guacamole . Yum!! Huge dinner plates!

I just love this place. Came here the first time I visited my fam. in sf and from then I try to drop by every time I'm visiting sf.

Amazing place. Order the sausage Gorditas , they are delicious. Ohh, they have Cerveza Quilmes, an amazing Argentinian lager .

Be ready to wait for a table this place is small and always packed. They have good Mexican cuisine , fun decor , and is good for family dinners .

Love # 14. Huge plate! Chicken tamale , taco and enchilada . There's always leftovers. So so good..

They have some of the best soup and salsa verde in the city . Worth the wait.

El Toreador served completely FLAVORLESS food. I had a taco & tostada platter w a margarita . the margarita was awful and WEAK. the only good thing here was the guacamole . never going here again.

Food is very good. The place is kind of cramped. Get there too late and end up waiting.

My son wants to go back here soon. The decor is amazing. :)

The mole 's are to die for.

Service isn't the most friendly but food is decent. What's cool is all the Mexican art and crafts hanging from the ceiling. Been around forever.
