Kind of pricey compared to Chinatown domain places but this was really good too. Plus the place is very clean . Great alternative to Chinatown.
forget going to Alhambra , San Gabriel Valley, Monterey Park for weekend dimsums . Their decor might not look it but it's the same caliber of quality and taste. and very generous portions .
Fave: almond milk in puff pastry , tofu w/abalone sauce, pork spareribs , sago w/mango & grapefruit , tea : Skip: roast pork , fried duck roll
Jasmine Tea , Pork Siu Mai , Shanghai Juicy Pork Dumplings , Tofu w/Abalone Sauce, Thai Style Fried Squid , Spicy Pan Fried Fish
Probably the best dim sum I have had in LA. The custard buns are comparable to the ones in Hong Kong.
The carrot balls were a surprise. They have an egg custard inside. Also liked the fried vermicelli with shrimp . It's one of their specialties.
Dim sum are delicious and authentic . Dim sum pieces are large.
So good! Everything we tried was tasty. Especially loved the salt and pepper fried calamari !
Good and cheap dim sum - would be nice if they had a booze license and better parking .
There are fewer dim sum dishes to choose from compared to Alhambra location
Sesame balls , Shumai , turnip cakes .
Great soup dumplings
LA times reccomends the Shumai
I'll be coming back again and again

Trying this new Pasadena restaurant with Erin & Johnny. Nice interior and decent food - Jenn Lin
Pretty awesome. They'll recommend drinks to your liking. just explain what you like, and they'll come up with pretty good suggestions! - Amy Kim
Get the mocha if you have a sweet tooth! The chai latte is good too. - Joan Ang
In the vein of Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn, with lots of woods and metals with a throwback to the style of the late 60s and early 70s. Sadly no dingbats... - Chris Aldrich
