Need a get away from all the chaos & noise, then there's a hidden garden with a couple of benches , beautiful landscape & a pond . Found behind Stealth , just to the left of the entrance of the queueline
Bring lots of water. No water fountains in the park so you’ll end up paying £2 a bottle if you don’t bring your own.
Buy tickets online, and visit on weekdays,, No queue at all ✌????
I did thoroughly enjoy my two days at Thorpe park the staff are so incredible friendly , the prices are quite good as well . The only downfall is the wait for the rides, far too long.
I'd definitely recommend it. Honestly i have to say that if you're really looking for enjoyment then fast-track tickets are important!! thought definitely worth it. Great experience!
If you never been on a roller coaster , go for flying fish (not too extreme) then you can go for the rest. I've never been on a coaster and I passed out on the Swarm
Check the weather before going as rain WILL ruin your day. Not many signs inside the resort , so expect go get lost. Calculate your trip carefully as the restaurants get packed up quickly.
I can't say that I enjoyed this placed. They have a nice rides that is cool but you have to wait the queue for each one or to spend more for fast track and anyway waste some time in other queues
Thursdays and Tuesdays are the best days to come. Less people. Come early and queue for the big rides before the queues build up..
Amazing day out don't go in any half terms of school hoildays go when park opens in the season and after summer hoildays there are no queues
Amazing on a sunny day - if your coming from far away i recommend the ultimate fast track ticket / skip all queues!
Best time of the year to go if you can catch a sunny day!! Unbelievably short queues and you can even get away with a couple of the wet rides :D Tesco is doing a 2 for 1 on tickets too
Awesome way 2 celebrate bday! Don't party the day b4 though! :) And wear comfy sneakers - you'll be hanging up-side down under the sky! Oh, and there's a good chance 2 get soaking wet. :) FUN!
The rides, all the rides! Never arrive with out a voucher . Quiet days would be mid week in may or September.
There's everywhere WiFi , a lot of really fun attractions . The queue can be really long and that's a minus. If you have money you could buy a more expensive ticket where you don't have to queue!
Leave The Swarm to last as its new and u will find yourself queueing for more than 2 hrs so definitely do Stealth and Saw first as they are 3x times better!!! Unless u get fast track !
If you can, stay in the Thorpe Shark hotel ! You get an hour of fast track passes included so you can skip all the queues!
Get there by 9:30am, ride the big rides first (Saw, Collossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth , and The Swarm ) and then leave early; queues are at their worst around 4-5pm!
Merlin Annual Passes save time & money and top up once in the park for Fast track on the bigger rides - on busy days straff walk around with fast track tickets
Get there early and go on saw first as it's far from the entrance and there's no queue at that time. Colossus is next door so you'll get two rides done quickly!
If your local but a merlin pass it pays for itself in the visits and great for a fees days out in London and Lego land too.
Love this park . Until you get someone behind you in a queue who thinks they're above the no smoking rules. Seriously people, it's not nice for the rest of us.
Had an amazing time! Thankfully no rides were broken and got on all the main ones! Also you should try out the frozen coke machine !
Great day out. Fast passes are a must have! Go to the Swarm in the morning as it's less busy then!
Really good amusement Park with fun, varied rides. The Swarm was our favourite!
September is the quietest • leave coasters to later in the day • eat little & often • visit restaurants at off-peak times • enter long queues with drinks • arrange meeting point • wear comfy shoes
2010, free parking . 2011, £2. 2012, £4!? Also like how the standard ticket price has doubled so the 2for1 deal is a trick. Spendspendspend!
Set on an island , focus is on coasters and rides rather than entertainers and theming.
If you like big rides (and big queues) this is the place for you.
The iDance UK hiphop Championships were held here in June 2011, featuring special guest judge, Shabba-Doo. On the first day was sweltering heat, the second torrential rain! Winners compete in Vegas
Fast track for the swarm , it's only five pounds and you save yourself an hour and a half in queuing time, well worth it!
Be prepared to queue queue queue! But some fantastic rides here, great day out.
Had an awesome day here (1st April 2010) - 1 hr 20 mins in the Q for Saw the Ride - but probably the best ride I've been on in years. Also recommend: Nemesis Inferno, Saw Alive and Rush. Read more
Head for The Swarm first, queues get long quickly. THE best ride in the park .
Fun rides with different levels of excitements that suited everyone in the family
Bring comfortable shoes , lunch from home, go straight to Stealth and then to Swarm .
Get here early but be prepared to go queue. Go for the ultimate ticket to allow you to queue jump if you can...well worth it. Hand driers in the toilets don't work though staff know about the issues w
Everything is amazing!! Get here early to make the most of your day!!
The park is not big but there are a couple of nice rides for adrenaline seekers, not many places to eat though
loved the park , try going early befor gets too busy ,
Go early, otherwise you got long queues, like 120 min ,
Arrive before opening, and then ride the big rides first (eg Saw) as queues will build up during the day. Food is mostly fast food including Burger King, KFC, and Pizza Hut.
Ladies, bring a change of clothes and some pound coins for the lockers. You WILL get soaked through on some of the water rides but they are totally awesome! Read more
The best rollercoasters ..amazing.. much fun
Beautiful entertainment city , amazing fantastic rides.
Been here twice now. Enjoyed both trips.
Come during term time and the queues won't exist.
Might be expensive but worth paying extra to queue jump in hot sunny days
Bring a battery pack for your smartphone or a spare battery as the amount of battery consumption used while queueing is unbelievable...
Park is not equipped for huge crowds so don't waste your money by going at weekends or in school holidays.
Really log queues getting out of the park, I’d recommend staying back for a drink or two if your leaving at closing time - Charlotte Boyle
Brilliant! I love Colossus and Nemesis and this new ride is up there with them both. Fast and well designed. And the queue is very clever. We did it twice and left/right make no difference. Both great - Gemma
We tried it at the front and back. Back was definitely the best. - Angus Looney
Fantastic ride - well thought out and worth the wait. If queue is past supplies kiosk, you'll be waiting 45 mins - Andrew Goate
Came here 12 years ago and the ride is still as thrilling. - Jessica Ansaldi
Wow wow wow! Stealth is absolutely incredible. I even went on it twice just because it was so heart pumping! Without a doubt my favourite ride and the staff really did go above and beyond for fun! - Ellie Johns
Best flat ride. Always the first ride when I go there. To get the full experience of a rush like no other, say to the staff tht you don't want your lap bar all the way down. - Jimmy Miller
