Got the chopped brisket sandwich with coleslaw and a sampling of the sauces. The coleslaw and the potato salad are highly recommended! The place has a great casual vibe ... good for a group gathering !

It's a challenge to find. Be brave, open the door, walk in, open another door, walk thru the coffee shop to the back counter to order food. Get the corn !

Loved it, even as a vegetarian . BBQ sides are just so friggin good. Skip the spicy pickles , coleslaw and broccoli salad are far superior. Oh and banana pudding ! Line moves pretty fast!

Arrive before 6 to beat the line , and ensure all the meat is still available! The pastrami is my favorite, if they didn't sell out. Fantastic.

Green Street Smoked Meats is a very good Chicago restaurant at West Town , in Chicago. The service here is always top-notch, with attentive staff who make you feel right at home.

Ordered the brisket , the pulled pork sandwich , and off a whim, a half pound of ribs . Everything was incredibly tender and had an incredible, smoky flavor that I won't forget anytime soon.

Get there early...or be prepared to wait in line . Line wraps around the bar so easy to grab beers while in line . Order extra and take home with extra sauce.

The brisket is a must, you only need to order that to have an amazing meal

Updates: slaw here is fantastic and not sweet. Vinegar sauce is amazing. The beef rib is what to order. Smoked dark chicken quarter also lovely.

I recently tried the Meats at this place, and they were mouthwateringly delicious! The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the smoky flavor was out of this world.

Texas-style BBQ joint where you grab your food (meat first) + plasticware, find a seat at shared tables, and bus your tray. Pork belly is fatty and salty, but I was feeling it. Corn side is good.

A lot of solid options here but the pastrami and sausage links are standouts.

Hands down tier 1 BBQ . Probably best pork ribs I've had. Brisket and short rib were both wins. Good slaw . BBQ connoisseur recommended.

Chopped brisket comes sauced up and is delicious. Also get the broccoli slaw and baked beans , which have nice big chunks of meat in there.

Texas style BBQ is not common this side of the Mason Dixon and usually not done well . This place is spot on. Hidden gem is the potato salad .
