On the Bund’s fast-developing north end, Banyan Tree’s first foray into Shanghai is a Zen-like retreat. Its best asset? All 12 suites have sweeping views of the Huangpu River and the Pudong skyline.

The hotel 's 130 guest rooms are among the city 's largest. Unwind with a Tibetan hot-stone massage at the three-floor, marble-clad spa , spread over 14,000 square feet.

Best of everything especially view ... Only point i should mention : Location out of the way ... Ok if you want to be away from crowd!

Nice view , relatively quiet and not so crowded . Drinks are compared to other Bars quiet expensive . Only sparkling wine or shots for a lady's night seems not appropriate.

Nice view of the river , spacious room , and pleasant service but the location is quite far from anywhere and on rainy days it's extremely difficult to get a taxi .

Rooftop bar is still under construction . Amazing banyan tree spa . Good for a quick inner city get away . Pool is hidden in the basement .
