Pricey but worth it for date night . The scallops with champagne butter sauce blew my mind, and the ahi with furikake and risotto was lovely.
Res Salt was our absolute favorite dining experience on the island . Beautiful plating and sophisticated flavor pairings. ????Recommend the sweet onion and corn soup as well as the charred ahi .
Breakfast : Everything, but the Lobster Benedict was special. Cocktails – innovative and saboroso. Dinner : Appetizers – Ahi , scallop or bone marrow . All fish entrees amazing. Panda cotta for dessert
This was the best meal on Kauai . Everything was excellent, reasonably priced for being on a resort . Service was also excellent. If anything was lacking, a better wine list by the glass.
Good food (esp breakfast ). Free valet parking . Walk the beach front after your meal. Connected all the way to the Poipu Beach via Marriott.
Octopus , bone marrow (could use better toast ), hamachi , tempura ahi roll, short rib , lobster gnocchi were very good. BUT the miso “butterfish ” was escolar fish (not cod ) & wasn’t flakey or moist
Scallops were a tasty appetizer . We were super intrigued by the Madagascar Vanilla Bean Mahi with Forbidden Black Rice but weren't wowed by the flavors.
Excellent food and service. Exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant . The mahi was the best prepared I've had on the island .
Everything on the menu is pretty top notch. Have had 7-8 entrees, all phenomenal. Avoid beef because of better quality, lower cost fish .
I got the pancakes which came with four different fruits . They were excellent.
Best AND most affordable breakfast in the Poipu area. Plus the Koa Kea strikes a perfect balance between posh/upscale + low key casual .
Everything. The best restaurant on the south shore of Kaua'i.
Ask for the ribeye steak prepared like the tomahawk steak is on the menu. Amazing...
Great atmosphere for a hotel restaurant , excellent food too! One of the best restaurants in Poipu .
Better value at breakfast and much bigger portions. Look online for deals on lodging and meals here. We had daily free breakfast for 2 and $75 additional for food.
Excellent food - no detail overlooked. Impressive cocktails with a real depth of flavor.
By far the best dining option in Poipu - sashimi is great.
We had a wonderful dinner here last night. Great wine list and delicious food.
The lemon-pineapple pancake soufflé is wonderfully light and sweet.
Select the breakfast package if you are staying here. You get a hot entree and you can help yourself to the continental. Totally worth it!
Lovely location, food was so beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked!
Lemon pineapple soufflé pancakes . Yum!
Sushi is great. Sit in front of the chef & do chef 's choice.
Great breakfast ! Really enjoyed the Mac-Nut Belgian Waffles .
Fabulous meal and service. Perfect.
the cotton candy is to die for
Sushi is amazing! Try sashimi sampler plate .
Enjoy what is arguably the best breakfast on Kauai whether you are staying here or not. Closed for lunch . Dinner is also fantastic.
The ahi is the best on the island !
The food is terrific and Tuesday-Friday they have a sushi bar !
Get the lemon pineapple soufflé pancakes . You're on vacation.
Nice selection of classic cocktails .
Lemon pineapple soufflé pancakes !
Perfect breakfast spot with a lovely view !
The best mai tais in the world.
The bar is much cooler than the restaurant , friendly people and friendly bartenders
Eggs Benedict was very good, friendly service , mediocre coffee
You NEED the root beer float for dessert !
Their miso butterfish was actually Escobar fish . Had to return it because it’s a cheap fish & no way too asked or looked like butterfish .
Order the eggs Benedict and skip the burrito , you're not in Texas people.
Lemon-pineapple soufflé pancakes .
Can't find it? Go to the Koa Kea spa and head to the right.
Good breakfast spot .
Food was OK. Service not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Given this is supposed to be THE boutique hotel this side of the island I definitely expected more.
The pork tenderloin entree is excellent
Seafood pasta
Overpriced for what it is. Spent $200 on a meal without drinks- just water. Been all over the world and have had better Filet Mignon .
Not on the menu , you can a "martini flights" sampler.
Coffee is bland and tastes a bit metallic. Not worth $3.50, even for a fix. You might be better off with an espresso drink .
The service here is very slow.
The barbecue sandwich and the fish tacos. Someone at the at my table got the fish and chips and they said it was really good. The alcoholic free Avalanche off the kids menu plus mango is amazing. - Peyton Keller
Worth it. Despite the naysayers, this place has excellent food, stellar service, and great views. The vanilla bean-brown butter vinaigrette on their arugula salad is something to write home about. - Kaitlin
The ceviche was fantastic and the Hawaiian Catch entree a perfect taste of different local seafood can't beat the setting either! - Kevin Chupka
