Poipu Beach

If you see a turtle or seal don't touch it and stay 10ft away from it or you'll be fined. Remember it's just trying to relax and get some sun same as you so give them some breathing space.

Fantastic spot for the little ones, where the parents can sigh a little less due to the clear water, shallow depth and spacious sand area to play.

Po'ipu Beach has an area for little kids, shallow & protected. My 41/2 year old nephew and I both snorkeled for the first time there! (I went to the right of the little island that juts out)

Great place for the family! Nice and calm and shallow for toddlers and children! Not too crowded , nice picnic areas , public restrooms , and showers !

Great for sunning or snorkeling . Wear watershoes as the beach is rocky in spots. Grab lunch at Breneckes deli conveniently located across the street from the beach park .

Nice gentle beach with good snorkeling and the Marriott outdoor bar right there. Seating, bathrooms , views , what could be better. Life is good!

Great place for snorkeling . As you look out toward the ocean, go on the right of the rocks, not the left. You'll see more fish there.

This is a lively beach with good amenities . Local people having BBQ along with usual tourists , omnipresent chickens and occasional seal.

There's a little sandbar right off of the beach , a perfect place to catch the sunset . Just be careful of the little waves that might get you more wet than expected!

Popular and populated for Kauai . Nice beach to swim , snorkel or surf . Very beginner for snorkeling , but you do get to see a variety.

Drive pass the map direction continuing along the coast and through the hotels , if, you're lucky a fellow Kauai'ian is just leaving.

Great for sun....and beach action....water was not as clear as we have seen...however the fish were in large schools.Very nice.

Baby friendly lagoon near the playground (opposite Brennecke 's restaurant ). Great for kids; great for people who might not be too comfortable in water.

It's a great place to see Hawaiian Monk Seals sunning on the beach .. Its not unusual to see one a day.

poipu beach is a great relaxing spot with some good snorkeling and a nice beach to lay out on. bring a few treats for the roaming beach chickens and get some shave ice !
