Kalapaki Beach

This is the locals beach (the water is more murky than Poipu) but with that said...sunrise is beautiful. No surfing really...primarily paddleboarders.

This warning about rip currents and a tip for escaping them is placed in every room of the Marriott resort next to the beach for a reason. Heed the advice - it may very well save your life.

Before you hit the beach , get some kalapaki shaved ice ! So good. And if you have to use the bathroom , go to the Marriott .

Not good for snorkeling , but great for paddle boarding, beginner’s surfing , and family friendly .

Grass area is very cool, feathers in to the sand beach . Great views , with bar service ..

the happy hour mai tais at dukes have little to no alcohol in them. go with beer instead.
