A nice beach area to sit and relax. Across the street was a food truck place to get some cookies and sandwiches etc.

Beware of the currents. Pick a marker on land and try to stay aligned with it. Use the marker to get a sense of when the current is moving you.

A very nice beach for bodysurfing or beginner's surfing in the winter. Not as daunting as the North Shore waves . The showers and washrooms are all the up North near the barrier.

Great beach for all types, swimming at the North end Boarding at the South. Long span of beach with pavilions and such

It's a gorgeous beach ! And also a nice place to cleanup if you've been on a nearby hike (or need to cleanup for any other reason, I suppose).
