Lots of crab , even a few different fish in the smaller wadding pool, rock protected but still with the ocean wave feel. Soft sand , shade, showers , next to awesome playground with large grass field .
A wonderful family beach with historical rock wall completed in 1964 creating swim & tide pools for some good beginner snorkeling and protected swimming .
Nice beach with two "ponds " for kids, or anybody who wants to take it easy. Ton of space for picnics etc. It's all very we'll curated and clean .
Great place to ride bikes and the beach is the best for kids especially with the playground right there. I walk with my baby in a stroller and my 4 year old rides her bike a couple times a week here
A great place for beginner snorkelers , protected by a barrier of rocks so the water always stays pretty calm .
Amazing place to snorkel ! We went early and watched the sunrise then snorkeled before it was crowded ! Lots of really cool fish !
Check out the Hauola (ancient sacred Hawaiian sites) while you are here.
Beautiful beach with picnic areas protected from frequent rains. Come to see the sunrise here!
This isn't a bad beach , but it's usually overcrowded. The rocks making is safer is great, but it feels less clean for this reason.
Snorkeling may not be as it once was but for the kiddos, there is no safer beach . Toilets and playground near.
Usually a great beach , but surf was high and lots of rain made the water very muddy.
Great protected swimming for young children. Facilities. Awesome playground .
Fun waves for body surfing
Great place to go for a walk, on the sand or the sidewalk!
Great for families with little ones...enclosed keiki (kiddie ) beaches
Great place for kids and family. Protect ocean swimming area along with BBQ facilities.
Great place to go snorkling! Bring a lunce and enjoy!
You can see the fishes without snorkels
Snorkeling is great and bring food so you spend the day.
They just excavated the pond . As of June, there are no fish to be seen. Will probably be quite a while before its a good snorkel spot again
Good for snorkeling and floating around.
Awesome beach for kids!! Loved it!!
Flagged - It's not a state park .
Best beach on East side for ohana.
Lots of fish to see near the rocks.
Bring snorkel gear
Perfect kiddie pool or place to learn to snorkel .
Safest beach on kauai
