Rempah udang is the real deal here. Fragrant spiced shrimp filling swaddled with generous glutinous rice . Traditional wrapping similar to the way I remember it

Kueh salat has a worrying fluorescent green colour. It’s supposed to be coconut egg custard flavoured with pandan . I doubt that’s the case with such unnatural colouring. Custard was too sweet

Nonya dumplings are the best… the blue pea version is more of a hype but stick to the traditional classics for a satisfying bak chang fix!

Tasted the Nyonya Jelly . Tasted of honey . Lady boss said it was made with seaweed . One piece costs $3.50. Pretty good!

Love the salty Chang and the chili prawn dumpling . Whenever I'm in Singapore I try to stop by and pick some up

Lots of CNY cookies & goodies. Worth considering

Old school bak zhang and various kuehs are the highlights here. Opens till 9 pm.

Ang ku kueh. Peanut filling was fragrant but grounded too fine, too compact. Tasted like dried up chunky peanut butter ????

Love the dumplings ! You must also try the traditional cakes/desserts.

一直以来，或许因为不熟悉的原因，我不曾觉得新加坡有什么好吃的。这次在新加坡经一友人推荐，就在我下榻的酒店不远处，就有一家著名的肉粽专卖店~金珠肉粽。那天我就在好奇心的驱使下，买了一粒品尝。果然好吃。 后来再经我细心探索下，原来我在新加坡下榻的地区，是生活气味浓郁的Joo Chiat。
