The chilli works great with their noodles and their fried wanton is flavourful (unlike the almost minuscule ones from competing brands/franchise). The coffee shop is a bit warm in the afternoon sun.
Look out for the male chef . He whips out noodles thats perfectly cooked with a balanced taste. Otherwise, get their fried Yong Tau Foo . Great compliment.
Very awesome and traditional wanton mee . I've been patronizing since young. I introduce this wanton mee to my bf n both of us r super addicted to it! For wanton lover, add additional wanton ! :)
Now this is what i call a good wanton noodle ! The chilli sauce goes perfect with their uniquely Fei Fei noodle texture. #feifeiwantonmee #ThomtoriEats
Fried dumplings are crispy and tasty! Ask for a bowl of clear soup also to wash down the oily noodles
Handmade noodles is a long lost tradition. Despite the lack of presentation, I still love having the noodles with chilli or black sauce . Do get soup (ask for spring onions ) aft u finish the noodles .
Finish your bowl of noodles , go back to the stall and place your empty bowl there for soup . See that the chef puts in enough sauce, and don't forget the spring onions !
Don't think this type of ulu ulu won't have good food.. There's roti prata shop opened by 1 Indian couple.. Their roti prata are so crispy & their curry is nice! Should try it out!! :D
Still the best wantan mee . Chilli is superb. Noodles just right, not too hard not too soft. Wantan is small but yummy. Charsiew is sliced thinly and not too charred or fatty.
Having chill plus black sause will taste much better with the noodles . don't forget to order some Yong Tao fu.
Not the typical wanton noodles you'd find in coffee shops . Fried wanton and spices are unique of its own!
The noodles disappointed, even after I mixed in the Chili . I cannot believe it. The only good delish thing was the dumplings with whole prawns , but they had inconsistent sizes. $6. Tsk tsk.
Love the noodles ! Try eating the wanton, charsiew and the vegetable first and then your noodles !
'Dry' wanton mee is tasty, but I prefer mine with soup . I've not visited this place since primary school but it must still be awesome.
Think the standard went down a bit. Noodles was so-so but the wanton and char siew were good.
Different noodle , different taste, standard drop
Their wanton mee here is hands-down one of the best in s'pore. The handmade noodles is springy and juicy, and their wanton simply melts in ure mouth! xD
Challenge yourself! Order a big bowl of wanton mee and add more noodles . Satisfaction guaranteed.
Wantan soup and don't forget to order their otah
Hanmade egg wanton noodles , delicious! Acquired taste fr some!
Just taboa the wanton mee large. Sad to say the standard has drop drastically. They gave too much noodle and the noodle was very dry. I don't think I will ever go there again.
The noodle texture is great, but not as tasty as expected
The soup is not served together with the noodles . Finish the noodles first and then have the soup added to the empty bowl. Remnants of the seasoning and chilli adds flavor to the otherwise bland soup .
They have shifted out of 62, and looks like a pamanent venue at 64. Smokers note, al fresco is at the back.
It's kind of over rated. But worth the try. As it's pretty delicious but not to the extent that u can't live without it... Hah... Enjoy ur wan tan mee ...
Quality has dropped over the years. Boiled wontons are soggy and even the crispy wontons are not crispy . The meat filling is not as tasty as before.
Very inconsistent standards . Different chefs , different taste. Chili varies too. Need to visit here often enough to know. Avoid early afternoons. Soup is tasteless.
24hrs ... wanton mee is great
Try the yong tau foo . It's a great complement to the wanton noodles . 24 hours !
The "Wan Tan Mian" is mostly noodles , small amounts of roast pork and very small amts of wonton ! The soup is separate but the flavor is very good. Not worth the trek but if you're in the area...
This is definitely not king of wanton mee ! I just stayed nearby, but only eaten twice and decided no more. There are much better one at Dunman 2nd floor, eng wanton mee at tg Katong.
Bring your bowl back for soup after youre done :):)
Standard has dropped drastically
At least the dumplings were good....for $6 (big), it is a ripoff. #sad #horrid
The wanton mee is one of the best in Singapore!!!
Dubious hygiene standards , and the overall quality has dipped . Even Pontian is better.
Must try the yong Tao fu!
Maybe the special part is to get a bowl of soup after u finish ur noodles .
Order the bbq cuttlefish rojak to accompany the wanton mee ... ultimate shiok combi!
Best wanton noodle in sg for me. Order fried wanton with your wanton noodle . Delicious!
Don't forget to try the chicken from the chicken rice store. But they only open till 12pm. Good extra liao for the noodles . Enjoy.
Fried dumpling was good (prawn + meat filling)
Best wonton mee ever! The mee, the wanton , the chilli and soup is superb
Paid $5 in total to add extra and this is what I've got? 3 wanton ? Still dare to confirm with me that they definitely added.. 3 wantons for 5 bucks? Say goodbye to one loyal customer..
Ice teh-o here is the best! But only three miserable wantons for a big bowl of noodle is really a ripped off.
Add on to the noodles a plate of lightly fried yong tau foo !
Excellent chow place with noodle minded friend.
Surprising the yong dau Fu taste nice too.. Must try! ..
Order big bowl of wanton noodles + $1 ingredients, add green chilli & chilli sauce and wolf it all down in 10 min
stupid place doesn't provide soup when you order your noodles . what people normally do is to finish their noodles , n then use the same bowl to get soup .
Get the ngoh Hiang as sides. Super generous and huge prawns with this prawn mee. I dare say My favourite prawn mee in Singapore :) - Sharon Liew
Fresh cockles and creamy laksa. Worth the trek east if you don't live nearby. - Wen Huang
Dry Mee Hoon kuey is really good! The chilli and anchovies can be purchased for consumption at home ;) - Maureen T
Love the dumplings! You must also try the traditional cakes/desserts. - Siv-Hege Blikfeldt
The kids water playground looks cool and fun. Would definitely bring my kids here! (When I have one though) - Imran Jamil
