The laksa soup here is really tasty! Just the right amount of spices to give it a kick but not too strong to send you flying, perfect dosage! Tried the otah as well and was very pleased with the taste
Delicious and yet different from the typical laksa we had, there are lots of clams & cut up shrimps & dried tofu . No chopsticks are available as noodles are all chopped up so you could use the spoon!
Get a tissue ready as this bowl of spicy goodness is going to make you sweat. Tip: the traditional way to eat Laksa (despite it being a noodle dish ) is using a spoon. Store owner will cut the noodles .
The whole island comes here during weekends. Place is crowded but always worth the wait. This is simply the best laksa you can find on this little red dot. Highly recommended.
This Katong Laksa tastes just so good. $7 for large and $5 for small bowls. Simply use a spoon to enjoy. Don't forget the iced barley drink !
Loved the laksa here. Creamy from the evaporated coconut milk , and just the right amount of spicy .
One of the best Laksa in Singapore . I liked it more hawker style than all renovated now. But food hasn't changed
katong laksa soup , fresh prawns and springy rice noodles must go with the otah and extra chilli..........really yummy
Definitely must try especially to know how Gordon Ramsey lost the challenge for their Laksa taste! Do try their Otah2 too!
One among the best Laksa places in SIN. A bit far from city center though
Best Laksa in town ! There must be a reason why Gordon Ramsay visited here. By the way, no chopsticks available here.
A not-to-be-missed bowl every other time I'm in town because it's simply yummy!
Fresh cockles and creamy laksa . Worth the trek east if you don't live nearby.
The standard of the famous laksa has been dropping consistently over the last few years and I think I might have just had my finalé bowl today. RIP.
There is air-condition!!! No need to suffer the heat and passing traffic along the road . Definitely the yummiest laksa I've had -- lightly sweet and fragrant coconut spicy soup with succulent cockles
This is one of the superstars of the Peranakan dishes ????
328 Katong Laksa just swept me off!!! It taste so much cool with a bottle of Tiger beer !!
the laksa is good????
Its too commercialised and gentrified now. The atmosphere is all wrong. This is now a modern and efficient operation. Food tastes... normal.
Was hoping it be spicier than it looks but it's not. Quite nice broth. $5.50 for small bowl. No chopsticks given because you can eat the noodles using spoon. Cashier uncle hope not friendly , no smile
Don't ask for chopsticks.Ü Their noodles are cut so it's easy to enjoy a bowl of Laksa with just a spoon.
The combination of coconut and evaporated milk gives the laksa here a gentle sweetness and creaminess. The spice level is just right – hot enough for some kick, but not overly spicy . Read more
Excellent service - accidentally dropped my tray spilling soup everywhere (sorry!). They immediately replaced it with a new one free of charge. I tried to pay and they would not accept my money.
Best Laksa in town , ate 2 bowls OMG. Tip: ask to double the toppings for double the fun (of course additional charge)- really yummy
Apparently femes so this cow tried but it was just oklah. Overall veli expensive for a bowl of laksa with siham & taugeh & slices of fish cake
Service is very nonchalant (& rightly so) but food is phenomenal. Laksa served with only a spoon ;)
now open on Mon but the Macdonalds style order-and-queue system frustrates
Large bowl now costs $7 after their not so special renovation. Yishun Laksa is better in all ways, and it's only half the price there. Don't be misled by the celebrity endorsements lol.
The best katong laksa ever! Makes me crave for it everytime i think of it.
Ever since they renovated to air conditioned , it is now self service at the counter. And franchised. Everything feels different from the time when I was a kid. Standard also dropped. Sad.
Laksa to die for
Best Laksa ever! Weirdly, they don’t give you napkins unless you buy them.
Best ever Sg Laksa I have ever tasted in my life! ????
A bit pricey at $5 and $7. Soup is sweet.. Add chilli for extra shiokness !
Ceylon Road outlet. $5.50. Chilli in small plastic pack is nice. Prefer Laksa across the road in Roxy Square.
Order laksa and otah. Don't say more than that! :-)
Price increased after renovation. And now, only big or small sized bowls. No medium. Also self-service ordering and collecting.
This is a superb bowl of laksa but I'm not sure if it's really the best in singapore :p
Laksa was ok, so-so. Good for laksa novices. Only $5 and $7 options available. For the extra punch, dunk ur otah in the laksa .
Now $5 for a small bowl, 7 for a big one. Quality deteriorated too. Very depressing.
Has the standard dropped??? Go try the one at Qi Ji located at Century Square in Tampines... The Laksa & Nasi Lemak
Go for the laksa and otah, give the rojak a miss.
Small bowl S$7.30. This Singapore style laksa has a creamy coconut soup as a base but almost no curry flavor. They give you 2 extra chili sachets to up the flavor but doesn’t really help. Disappointed
Other than laksa , try the rojak !!! It's the best I tasted!
Prawn getting smaller. Standard and taste dropping. Price kept rising.
Thick, creamy laksa soup , fresh prawns and springy rice noodles , probably the best laksa ever.
Standard dropped tremendously . Too pricey now . Large bowl at $7.00 . No laksa leave and fish fish cake . Person taking orders Also not friendly and can't be bothered attitude !
Spicy and flavory laksa + otah
Crap laksa , overrated n misled by all these so-called celebrities who come to eat here n tk a pic. Service is so poor as well . Try e Marine Pd Laksa at Roxy sq basement . That is the bomb
Best laksa . Add otah too.
Now this is what i call a good wanton noodle! The chilli sauce goes perfect with their uniquely Fei Fei noodle texture. #feifeiwantonmee #ThomtoriEats - Ian Thomtori
Get the ngoh Hiang as sides. Super generous and huge prawns with this prawn mee. I dare say My favourite prawn mee in Singapore :) - Sharon Liew
Love their beef kway teow, chilli salt chicken wings, sambal potato leafs! If you are in the area, you must come and try!! - Chee Wai Wong
The kids water playground looks cool and fun. Would definitely bring my kids here! (When I have one though) - Imran Jamil
Love this cosy shopping mall in our neighbourhood ????????.. It has everything for essential stuff. - Richa???? Fryatt
Laksa Tagliatelle, a clever Asian interpretation. Mussels instead of cockles. Delicious! - Stacy Seah
