New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice (新怡保滑鸡芽菜河粉茶餐室)

Opened since 1977. Lots of heritage. I remember it taste a lot better. Not to say it's bad, just missing the true authentic Ipoh taste. Still recommended if you don't want to drive 2 hours from kl.

Good chicken rice , but really good char siu and siu yuk. Both types of barbeque pork here are really good and underrated.

Either they got some supersecret recipe for the soup or it's full of MSG. The chicken rice here is pretty similar to what you'd get in Ipoh, give or take but overall it's a bit too greasy for me. 7/10

The soy source for the chicken , bean spouts & hor fan are too artificiality sweetened. If you love eating sugared chicken rice , this is the place for you!

Bean Sprouts Chicken (Cantonese nga choy kai - 芽菜雞), - This consists of chicken meat, assorted chicken innards and beansprouts boiled in water and served with soy sauce and sesame oil .

Chicken & pork rice nothing to shout about. May try the fried rice or meehoon one day. Next door Satellite ???? restaurant looks more happening

Chicken and rice is seperately charge. It has 10% and 6% government and service taxes. Quite expensive actually

Best hainanese chicken rice I've had for ages. Try the fish ball and fish cakes too.

Though their wifi is on Unifi, their router may need to be changed. Can't get connected to it. -_-

the steam and roast chicken is really good..make sure u also ask for the chilli and taugey in soy sauce ..

If you don't like your pork fat please tell them when ordering or you'll end up with plates of fat fat fatty fat.

Best ipoh chicken noodles

I personally think that the chicken isn't tender at all, fish cake isn't fresh, bean spout and soup are too salty.  They spoilt the real goodness of Ipoh chicken rice !

The food was okay . However one of the waiter here was very rude . When we order the wrong drink but immediately changed then he showed his unhappy unsatisfied face . Overall it was okay. Not superb.

Poor presentation of the food. Use to taste good but now served in bento box is worst. Service is poor and added using under aged children to serve the food. Will not come back anymore.

The chicken rice was lovely and cost only RM7+. The wifi had no password but I couldn't use the internet on my iPhone :(

Used to be good. Now it's not great anymore, overpriced and too much preservatives. Next door satellite restaurant much better. You won't regret it.

This restaurant used to be good. Now even the Kampung Chicken are not fresh. The meat near to the bones is black. Looks like its frozen chicken . And service sucks!

Aircon not working. Hot and stuffy inside. The environment doesn't fit the price they charging. Boss wants to safe electricity.

Food is so-so and very pricey ! If you aren't rushing to the nearby hospital , I really wouldn't recommend it.

Famous for their chicken rice . But getting overpriced and quality isnt as good as before. Still good though.
