A very nice and interesting museum of the Great War. There is a possibilty to grab a bite or a drink in the bistro next to it. On the other side of the road there is a Graveyard to visit of the WWI

Who Cares

Small but authentic private WW1 museum in a former chapel. Worthwile your visit. Also nearby: trenches at the former castle -now hotel - Hooge, and the original mine craters at Bellewaerde Ridge.

Neil Maxfield

The museum is ok but the mine lakes outside are really fascinating. Largely untouched with lots of artefacts just laying around

Martijn Mooijman

Great museum about the battles of Yeper

Copper Phoenix

Don't miss the actual mine crater a little further up the road in the Hotel Grounds.

Very good museum

Heel sjiek museum.

Impressive monument to remember the First World War. Each day at 20.00 o’clock sharp they perform the Last Post. It’s the closest thing you can get to the First World War. - Werther Veulemans

Don't leave without visiting the massive crater near by! Cross over the train line slightly past the hill 60 area, then take a left and walk 5 mins into the forrest. - Dan
