Definitely an interesting museum to visit. Be sure to check out the replica Keith Haring mural outside (you don't have to buy a ticket to see it).
Catch a break from the downtown heat with some local contemporary art : the building itself justifies a visit. Whilst collections vary in quality, there is always more than one so you can't go wrong.

The building itself is really cool. The art is kind of weird, but worth checking out if you're interested in contemporary art . Free wifi .
Shame both ground and top floors were closed when I visited, made €10 seem a bit steep. But the building is beautiful and a few pieces were really great. Wifi code included on your ticket.
When it's closed you will meet hundreds of young people on the plaza dancing to hiphop or skateboarding or just hanging around and drinking beer . Awesome!

Also known as MACBA, this is one of Barcelona's best museums . Has impressive collections from the mid-20th century to present. Stop by the Special Collections and Library Reading rooms.
Fascinating exhibits and they have guided tours for free (in english too)! Admission is worth the price. There are nice info pamphlets for each exhibit too.

Great contemporary museum . A lot of different exhibitions and mesmerising architecture inside. Chill outside and watch the skaters do their tricks while you wait outside.

I like this place and will visit in future. Not so crowded and lots of things and art it's nice to think of there.

Interesting exhibits , great architecture , and the surrounding plaza is fun for people watching .
They say this is the hot skateboard spot. Being from Venice CA I'm spoiled cause 3 visits left me super unimpressed. Oh well - the locals clearly love it. A couple of cool friendly skate shops nearby.

Museum is great, close by to CCCB, bars and coffee bear . If you skate , this is your spot.

The Punk exhibition is amazing. Don't miss it!
You might find some interesting temporary exhibitions . The last floor is hard to digest though! Conceptual stuff is not easy for "normal people". Maybe the curators could have made it lighter?

Of all the gift shops you’re gonna find in BCN, this is the coolest.
Sadly the regular exhibition was closed, but the temporary exhibitions were great and it is definitely worth a visit to this contemporary art center.
