Constructed between 1880 & 1885, this modernist building hosts temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art and owns one of the most complete collections of Catalan artist Antoni Tàpies’ work. Read more

Before going inside be sure to know a bit the artist , Tàpies. He's art is a bit special. However, the building has an interesting architecture and a great art bibliotheca you can access pre-notifying.

You can't miss the Tapies Foundation building with its "barbed-wire bird's nest" on the roof! Antoni Tapies is a legend and the collection is a must if you want to understand contemporary art in Spain

This cultural center in Carrer d'Aragó is dedicated to the works of respected Catalan painter Antoni Tàpies and exhibitions dedicated to modern and contemporary art . Open Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-7pm.

The building is worth exploring in itself. I'd like more works of Tapies, but luckily I saw them elsewhere.

Impresionante el espacio interior del edificio, aunque me decepcionó las pocas obras de Tapies que vi. Merece la pena echar un vistazo a la biblioteca . En el sótano hay también exposiciones temporales

Estar atenta a la programación: suelen tener muy buen actividades.

Siempre he querido ir. Pero no se porque me opongo a que se cobre entrada en esta fundacion. No se, me dio por pensar en q no esta bien. Quizas estoy equivocado, se aceptan explicaciones o razones

El espacio interior es impresionante ! Y la colección también!

Cuando fui casi no había gente, por lo que fue una gran experiencia.

Carina la terrazza e l'ingresso con l'installazione floreale appesa al soffitto. Entrare per vederla non costa nulla
