Well worth the short ascension: the view from the terrace is brilliant (best enjoyed w/ a beer )! The restaurant serves a correct lunch , and the entrance to the museum is free on Saturdays after 3pm.
Visit the roof terrace for a panoramic view of the city . Follow the signage that says 'tour ' near the stairwell. It leads to the roof terrace where u get.glimpses of castle Montjuic & Olympic stadium .
Comfortable couches , free wifi and excellent architecture at the ground floor! Take the elevator to the roof for a great view . They redesign the Modernism section now, they only exhibit a few pieces.

We spent the day. The view outside the top of the museum was breathtaking. We enjoyed all the Catholic art the museum offered. The architecture of the museum is as good as the art , as a former palace .
I wish I had more time for this museum . It needs 2 full days if you want to observe and appreciate the art . Its a great learning experience for Art & History lovers.Spend at least a full day when u go
The museum is housed in a beautiful building set above Barcelona. The view from the top is amazing. You get a panoramic view of Barcelona there. Combing your museum visit with magic fountain show .

Once at the top, go left down the hill towards the cable cars and make your way to the castle behind it. Amazing views of the city !

So beautiful, luckily escalators are available to reach out. Put a good few hours so you can see all around and inside. Cafe available either before or after.
It has the most important Romanic collection!The view from its restaurant ( 28 € the menu) is amazing! Free entrance with the Carne jove coupon and the 1st sunday of the month.

You will enjoy this museum both inside and out. I really enjoyed the currency exhibit and the recruitment war posters they had set up.

From the Plaça d'Espanya, the view up to the Palau Nacional is breathtaking. We suggest you take the walk up and have a look.

Was not essy to find, but when u get there you are impressed even before you enter. No que. Just few people. Different kinds of arts : baroqe, gothic, numismatic etc. But more impressive from outside.
Take a break on the second floor with comfy couches outside the restaurant . Free wi-fi and beautiful architecture around you complete the view .
