It's perfect for dates if you're into nerdy stuff! I loved it here with my ex-boyfriend. You learn new things no matter how old you are and get to have fun too!
Just because it's free admission doesn't mean you can let your kids run around like savages, banging all the buttons, and ruining everyone else's experience. Take the opportunity to teach & learn!
Interactive exhibits abound for even the non-science fan, as there's something for everyone in the expansive center. On display now is the Endeavor, and her history is a must-see.
The Endeavour is just worth the visit, as well as other space program things. Most of the exhibitions are for kids, who are everywhere making noise. Free entrance and free Wi-Fi.
A great place to spend a day with the family or friends. Be sure to check out the Space Shuttle Endeavour now on display. An amazing addition to this great institution and Los Angeles.
This place is wonderful for both kids and adults, they have interactive games in their "discovery centers" that are also educational and fun! It requires a minimum of 2 hours here, so much to see
Is a nice and very interesting place to visit and enjoy with the exhibitions . The IMAX is really cool!

Fun&informative. A lot of their exhibits are hands on, and they have a new fish tank that houses countless numbers of marine wildlife. They even have a marine petting zoo where you can touch starfish.
Beautiful museum and learning center in downtown. Visited the Cleopatra exhibit which was very interesting and the IMAX movie was fantastic. Then visited the Rose Garden just outside.
Endeavour photography exibition has some of the best photographs and cinematography i can honestly say ive ever seen. If you have the slightest interest in the space shuttle it will blow your mind.
This museum is definitely for families and kids. It's very interactive and there are colors and exhibits everywhere to explore! But as an older person, my friend and I got a little bored.
Admission is free, and you can see the space shuttle Endeavour for a nominal fee of $2.

Right now (07/2022) there is a traveling exhibit from Cambodia, the Angkor collection. A ticketed event . Get reservations on line .
Grab a free science passport card at the lobby before you head upstairs and get it stamped at the different stations to receive $1 off one of the attractions (including IMAX and the Explorastore)
Trying to eat healthy? Bypass the McDonalds they have there, and go for the Grab 'n Go. They have healthier snacks there, particularly health bars that actually taste good!
State of the art facility that houses a freaking space shuttle but they haven't figured out how to take credit cards for the parking lot . Bring cash (10 bucks) to park .
Kids loved seeing the space shuttle endeavor . Most exhibits are free. Great place to visit. A bit overrun with school groups that have minimal supervision though.
Very family and kid oriented. The Endeavour is the biggest thing to come for (especially since tickets are donation based!)
Admission is free, but the more Premium exhibits require a ticket. If you plan on visiting Endeavour, buy your ticket in advance, but schedule your time so you have ample time to explore.
Special exhibits change from time to time. A membership to the CSC makes repeated visits easy and worthwhile.

The Body Worlds exhibit is amazing!!! Endeavor is worth checking out too ;)
IMAX's Flight of the Butterflies is an amazing and beautiful documentary . Definitely bring your family and kids.
NEVER go on a weekday towards the end of the school year. You'll encounter a Center that WAY over-books school field trips that they can't accommodate. It's a madhouse. Someone send the Fire Marshall.
Great place for kids and education ..be sure to visit the space shuttle!!!
Make sure to visit Endeavour! It's a great display and I can't wait until its permanent display is built. The rest of the museum was fun too.
May be the best free place in the whole Southern California area for kids. An overwhelming amount of things for them to see and do here.
See sea scrolls first. People don't move they and stand around waiting while more people are let in. Entire exhibit is very good.

Wow! If you're in Los Angeles, you must visit the CSC. They've got the Space Shuttle... come on!!!
I remember when they remodeled this place, I was 6 and everything was so awesome! Now some parts of this museum seem kinda dirty and dated ????
Cool museum with many interactive stuff for kids. Plus the Shuttle Endeavour !
It's unable to use a mobile phone around the Endeavour. Best place to take a picture of the Endeavour is at the EXIT door :)
